My girlfriend and I went to Rome on the 2nd march 2014, on arrival we were warmly welcomed by the reception staff who were kind, helpful, and made out initial impression of the hotel fantastic. This continued through out stay. Our room was lovely (infact the whole hotel), overlooking the main square and fountain, which whilst being very busy the noise from the street could not be picked up at all.
The hotel is literally 3 mins walk from the trevi fountain and 6 mins from the pantheon, so amazing location.

Breakfast was brilliant, plenty of coffee, fresh fruit, cereals, breads, nuts, eggs and bacon etc all ordered and delivered swiftly and politely, but also in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Breakfast at the weekend even went on until 11:30!

We also had fresh fruit in our rooms and lovely fresh Italian biscuits each day, and a free bar drink voucher.

They also arranged a private car back to the airport, which was not really any different in price to a taxi which we felt was worth it.

Everything about our stay was lovely and perfect. Thank you, I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is perfectly situated close to Piazza Spania. There is a taxi station 100 meters away, so that's convenient too. The rooms are really pleasant and convenient. The breakfast is nice without being exceptional. The common spaces are quite small, but that's not an issue. All-in the ideal place for a short stay in a city like Rome where you spend a lot of time out of the hotel anyway.

The Hotel is in a fantastic location, you can walk to most attractions and just around the corner is the train and cab stands. The neighborhood is very good with high class Via Veneto around the corner. Restaurants are everywhere. Spotless rooms with Comfortable beds, Fresh fruit and an Awesome Breakfast. The hotel was booked and we never heard any people from other rooms. We stayed on the third floor Close to Piazza Barberini and when the window was open you could hear the street noise. At night we left the bathroom window open for some air circulation. My husband slept thru the noise and I had earplugs. I can't say enough great things about the staff, From Remembering my birthday and anniversary, to making dinner reservations and Borghese gallery reservations. Always polite, friendly and helpful. The bartender was great. Thank you for making our trip unforgettable.

This was our first trip to Italy and what a way to start! The hotel is so close to all the tourist sites and the staff were superb - every question answered with a smile! The food was super and plentiful. We had a deluxe room overlooking the piazza and the sound proofing was impressive. Clean linen every day and lots of extra touches. We will certainly return to this hotel when we go back to Rome and have already recommended the hotel to others. Well done Hotel Barocco. Only sad that we had to return home so soon.

this hotel was the perfect place to stay in Rome. Close to everything including all the tourist sites. Friendly staff, always helpful. Great breakfasts. Beautiful rooms, fair prices.
Rooms a bit small but you come to find out that most of Europeon hotels are small. This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in and will not look anywhere else when visiting Rome again.

Room Tip: The room we had was small but beautifully appointed. View was of the street which I loved as we were able to watch the people walking in the morning.
