Location: great location steps from via veneto, and barberino subway stop. Also near Spanish steps, and Villa Borghese. Not too far from Trevi fountain. Situated next to strip club but don't let that bother you (might be a bonus to some people?). It's quiet. As is probably true with any hotel in Rome, there are tons of great restaurant options steps away. Almost all pasta or pizza of course!
Room size: TINY, even for this 5 foot 1 inch petite gal. Very little storage, 1 cupboard, 1 drawer. Sink was super small.
Climate: Air conditioning works, if you're ok with having to get up to reactivate out every couple of hours! It just didn't work properly. I would push the power button and it would activate with a solid light indicator. After an hour or so, the AC would shut off and the power indicator would be blinking. You'd have to power it off and back on to reactivate the AC. Which would be active for about an hour again. It was only about 20 Celsius and cool at night. It would have been preferable to leave the window open but there was no screen to block the mosquitoes. Recommendation to hotel management would be to add screens, you'd probably save on power. Our else fix the AC. Otherwise it gets unbearable and unbreathable. I would not stay here again because of this.
Reception: Check-in and checkout was easy and quick. Helpful in directing us to RomaPass vendor. However when asked about AC, we got the brush off. They said "that's how AC works", it turns off when it reaches the temperature, which is pathetically true, but ours turned off permanently! Also one day we returned to find the room hadn't been made up. We called to get fresh towels, but the front desk agent said it was too late and he would help but he'd was the only one at the front desk...not sure what happens when he has to go to the toilet during the night shift... anyway we were able to hunt for towels on our own but don't expect to have anyone bend over backward in terms of service.
Breakfast: included in your stay. Decent. Would be nice to have more variety of fruit, had canned peaches and prunes daily. Better than nothing though. Lots of carb options, cereal, pastries, toast. Yogurt, cheese, salami, ham. Coffee options were great. Other reviewers are right about limited space in the breakfast room, but we were able to get a table every day. Maybe it's worse in peak season.
Amenities: hair dryer, scented toilet paper!, no box of tissues, shampoo only, soap bar, no lotion or moisturizer, shower cap, shoe sponge(what is that anyway?)
Bed: firm but comfortable after a long day of walking. Pillows are thin, not for side sleepers.
Other: shower has no door and it's in front of the toilet. Remember to move the toilet paper or it'll get wet. Turn on shower by pushing the hot/cold knob up. Wi-Fi was good.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for sharing your experience with us.

We are extremily sorry you faced some issues during your stay. Regarding the AC, is not that common to keep it on in October (this hear has been unusually warm) that's why it would reach the temperature you wanted and switch off straight after. Yuor idea of a screen to block the mosquitoes is great, but unfortunately we are not allowed to set it up, since the building is protected by the cultural heritage. Besides, the suggestion of adding more guest amenities is well appreciated.

Best regards

Modern cosy refurbished rooms not so roomy but with big bathroom, poor breakfast in a tiny breakfast room, marginally polite personnel particulalry on breakfast. Excellent location provides easy access to all main sights and Rome centre. Near Via Veneto which has a "belair" season touch & feeling, nice to be walked and have a coffee or drink there.

The rooms are modern, with everything you need in it. Great hotel . We would recommend it to everyone.

We were in Rome from august the 6th til the 10th. We decided to go to this hotel for the location close to the train station Termini. It was a great place to stay. The rooms are modern a bit small, but with everything you need in it. The service at the reception was fine, The only problem I would see is the small breakfast room with no air conditioning. Some morning I would see people needing to turn around because the tables were full and it was really hot in there. You could not hear the people going around in the hall way at night. Perfect !! You really need your sleep in Rome !!

We were close to the subway station (5 min), restaurants, the trevi fontain and the pantheon (10-15 min walk).

It's a grat location for Rome. You can go anywhere from this hotel.

My boyfriend and I stayed June 2013 for a week and the hotel and it was perfect!!! The room is small but very clean which I loved. The curtains they have in the rooms are awesome at keeping out the sun light. The breakfast is very good my boyfriend love the cafe americano. Claudio, one of the workers there, was the sweetest guy and very helpful. It's a 5 minute walk to the Spanish steps and everything is very close by. Great hotel at sucha great price. We would recommend it to everyone. Thank you for making our anniversary very enjoyable.

Little small but ok for one person. Near the HardRock Café and Via Veneto street.
At 2 minute by walk from the Bernini station.

Staff not very "friendly" they don't smile very much...!
I've stay there 6 nights, Room very clean, but very echo, people din't care about other client, they slam the door very loud ! Maybe they shoud need to check the lock's.
One night at 2 am one of the staff came to repair something and they din't care about people sleeping ......bang bang bang !
Overall, good price if you book your journey early ! Near the fontaine of Trevi, The Capucin Museum and the Villa Borghese.

If you dont care about all the stuff I've said....go for it.
