The hotel is clean and the employees are polite. The hotel is located in a walking distance from all the mayor tourist sites. They had an excellent breakfast included in the hotel rate. I have one complain but i know it is out of the hands of the hotel. It is noisy. The other guests slam the doors all the time and they didn't care how late it was and more people might be sleeping. Also there are two bars on the side of the street we were and when they were open late we were able to hear the noise in our room. And the hotel has a bar in the 5th floor and the noise of the music can be heard. Other than that is an excellent place to stay.

Room Tip: Perhaps try not to stay in the room that face the street

OMG - so one room was soooo excrutriating HOT they moved us, then the next room the electrical shorted out and we had no lights so they moved us, then the next room had no hot water so they moved us!! One of the rooms had a broken lock - you could bump the door and the door opened and we had to argue with them for 3 days to fix it - they said that the door locked when inside so what is the problem and they could see who entered our room when we weren't there, so what's the issue????? WOW...beautiful hotel, but buffoons work there!

The positives- Definitely a great location. Very, very clean. Restaurants are amazing. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Staff was over all friendly.

Negatives- WI-FI didn't reach our room. TV ( satellite) very difficult to use with very limited English speaking stations. The bed was as hard as a rock, no joke. Toilet didn't function properly, when we complained to staff late on our first night, we were told to "use a bucket or bag (eeek!) and to use the main hotel restroom if there was an emergency." The next morning the staff made up for it by upgrading our room, which was nice.

Overall I would recommend this hotel to a friend or family member.

Room Tip: Take advantage the discount the hotel gives on their restaurants.

We chose this hotel for a weekend gateway as it has great reviews on TA. The location is great and the staff polite and helpful - but we were shocked they could advertise such tiny, dark rooms as "Deluxe". The room was *very* small and cramped but the dealbreaker was the two small openings (5x10cm) on the wall that they called windows. Even on the 5th floor the room was always in obscurity. On the way back the taxi driver vehemently tried to get more money than what was arranged with the hotel - than did not help to keep a great souvenir of this place. Rome is a beautiful city full of great hotels - you won't have any trouble finding a better place to stay.
Would not recommend.

Good location, friendly staff, nice hotel. I would consider it more of a 3 star hotel. It does have plenty of amenities but not 4 star to U.S. standards. We used it for a one night stay before leaving out of Rome and it was good for that. Note that the standard rooms (which we used) are VERY small. It’s about the size of a cruise ship cabin. The bathroom is also very small. The TV was about 14 inches on the wall. The Wi-Fi worked very well and fast. We used the window to control the air temp. Breakfast was included and was okay. Could have some more hot options. There is a nice rooftop bar. Overall the hotel is nice with a good location near the Spanish Steps, shopping etc. However, if you’re looking for a true 4+ star hotel this may not be for you.

One thing I truly value when visiting a city is the location of the hotel. We love to walk out the door and have a large variety of services and venues to walk to. The Valadier is just that. Right near restaurants, cafes, Piazza del Popolo, Via del Corso, The Spanish Steps, shopping and a stroll to numerous attractions. The hotel is well-maintained. The negative: the rooms are small. It's unfortunate but the other attributes seem to compensate for that. I must say that my travel agent's suggestion was right on target !

It's an excelent hotel, with a well-organised ,high level of service..The atmosphere makes you come back.Have to admit that Hi-res restaurant offers a big variety of gourman food,it's an amazing lounge to spent your evening with friends.During the day time i strongly recommend to visit the restaurant downstairs, because the pizza is the best i've ever tried in Rome.
