Booked through BA into Hotel White who, we found out were undergoing renovations, so they gave us the option to stay or be moved to this hotel. We opted to stay here and were moved without any problem/fuss. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was on the small side (as expected in a central Rome hotel) but perfectly clean and comfortable. Buffet breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Hotel in great location. Would definitely stay here again.

Dear NicNak666,
thank you very much for your positive feedback!
We apologise again for the inconvenience with the White Hotel: a structural damage had to be fixed and, being located in a historical building, everything gets more complicated...
We look forward to have you again as our Guests in one of Travelroma Hotels and send you our best regards!

I would just like to personally thank the hotel Accademia for a truly wonderful stay. Whilst here we have found the room & facilities to be very comfortable & welcoming and the hotel staff very friendly, they have helped us on several occasions and have always appeared to be genuinely caring. I would gladly recommend the hotel to family & friends. The hotel location is amazing, central to everything, they also have a cafe next door that is part of the hotel called News Cafe, we visited here every day for drinks and snacks, the staff were brilliant & the prices excellent especially for such a central location next to Trevi.

Our stay in Rome has been a very special one and we hope to revisit this beautiful city again the future.

We spent a long weekend holiday here. We had upgraded to a superior room. The location is great - we were able to walk to most places. The breakfast included was a great start to the day but - the beds are awful! Those beds were uncomfortably hard - rock hard. No different than sleeping on the floor. Wifi is advertised but could never get it to work in the room. The staff were fine and helped us with some reservations.

My husband and I have just returned from a 4 night break, a deal with BA. We had booked a superior room, 353, which was large, clean and comfortable, overlooking a terrace and interior square. Previous reviews had mentioned the chiming clock, which did not really bother us at night, but may possibly be a problem in hot weather with windows open. There was a cooling facility in the Room but we did not test it out. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. There was a fridge and minibar in the room, and tea/coffee making facilities in the lounge on the ground floor in this wing.

Breakfast was ample, good choice and plenty of it.

The hotel, situation is perfect for walking to all attractions, we are both in our 60s and managed to see everything without using public transport. We used taxis to and from the airport, the fare is now 48 euros, takes about 45 mins .

Plenty of eating places nearby, we would recommend Casa Mia nearly next door, newly opened and nice food.

Room Tip: Superior room large and comfortable.

My Husband And I Have Just Returned From A Great Holiday In Amazing Rome. We Stayed 10 Nights At This Lovely Hotel. It Is Very Centrally located, Within Walking Distance To Most Attractions And Just A Stone's Throw Away From THE TREVI FOUNTAIN. We Mentioned We Were Celebrating VALENTINE'S DAY And Also MY BIRTHDAY And Were Delighted To Be Given A Modern EXECUTIVE ROOM With Parquet Flooring With An Adjoining Second Bedroom And 2 Large TV, Modern Furnishings, A Marble BATH/SHOWER ROOM With Quality Complimentary Toiletries, Ample Wardrobe Space, MINI BAR And Efficient Room Controlled HEATING/AC. My Husband Enjoyed The Nice Choice Of BUFFET BREAKFAST And The Pleasant Staff Tried To Accommodate Me By Providing GLUTEN FREE Bread, Crackers And Biscuits As I Am CELIAC. This Hotel May Be Quite Small But We Found It To Be Far Superior Than Other 3 Star Hotels In EUROPE. Quiet, Kept Very Clean, Comfortable, Efficient And All The Staff From The Reception To The Porters And Maids Were Always Polite And Helpful. The Hotel Also Has A Lovely Bar Next Door Complete With Heated Outside Seating. The Only Thing Missing That Would Have Been An Added Bonus Would Be To Have TEA/COFFEE Making Facilities In The Room. We Spent Hours Searching The Internet Before Deciding On HOTEL ACCADEMIA And We Will Happily Stay There Again On Our Next ROME Visit.
If Like Me You Are CELIAC And Looking In The Area For A Good And Reliable Place To Eat, I Highly Recommend RISTORANTE VOGLIA DI PIZZA In VIA DEI GIUBBONARI Near CAMPO DEI FIORI, About 35 Minutes Walking Distance From The Hotel. They Have A Normal Menu PLUS Also,Unbelievably A Complete GLUTEN FREE Menu With A Vast Choice Of Delicious BRUSCHETTI, PIZZA, PASTA, DESSERTS AND BEERS. Everything Is Homemade,Yummy And Safe With Knowledgeable Staff And CELIAC ASSOCIATION Approved. Prices Are Very Moderate. JUST RELAX AND ENJOY!!!

Room Tip: I Don't Mind The Frequent Loud Church Clock Chimes Day And Night As With The Sound Proof Windows...

Wonderful position 50m from Trevi fountain and easy walking distance from other main city centre sites. Room very clean and comfortable, beds a little small. Nice breakfast. Staff pleasant and helpful. Amazing value; booked though British Airways.

Room Tip: We had room 208. Good size for a city centre hotel. Second floor overlooking piazza, but quiet despi...
