Recently stayed here for a weekend and was pleasantly surprised. Our room was clean and modern, although on the small side but we didn't really care as we were out all day. Location is right in the heart of Rome, a stones throw from Fountain Trevi. If you don't mind walking you can get to all of the top locations easily. We didn't take public transport once. The only thing i would avoid is the breakfast in the hotel... best bet is to find a nice little cafe on your way out. There are plenty.

The hotel was in very central location, Trevi fountain around the corner, bus stop across street and close to shops and cafes. Staff was friendly and room was clean and quiet but the problem was, there were lights across the street and the curtains were thin so it looked like it was in the the middle of the day at night. Do not have a box breakfast, we were leaving at 7.00am to go on a day trip and thought we would get cereal, milk, yoghurt the night before but what we got at 6.30am next morning. It had a pre-packed croissant, warm juice, and apple and some spreads to go on those hard pieces of bread(pre-packed) and they couldn't even get us a cup of coffee.

Hotel was conveniently located, close to Fontana di Trevi. We booked two superior rooms, which were quiet and clean, although very small. Great air conditioning. Breakfast was pretty basic in what seemed to be the rear part of the hotel without windows. The front desk service was also pretty standard.

Great hotel, around the corner (to the right as you look at the fountain) from the Trevi Fountain. Helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are more than adequate - clean and confortable. Whilst they are not large, they are well equipped. The price is very reasonable - particularly for the location. Breakfast was continental and pleasant. They were happy to look after bags, book taxis and gave us maps to help us around. I stayed in a room for 3 with my two children and we had a fantastic time.

Was unsure of my choice reading a few reviews however I was extremely happy with the room, service and everything else with my visit. Firstly the location.....it is right around the corner from Trevi fountain a wonderful landmark to visit every night...and I must state that I was worried with the noise from there but didn't hear a thing any night at all. We stayed a total of 5 nights, 4 before a tour of Italy and then one night upon return to Rome. It was a great room with 2 large singles in the main room and a queen in a separate room leading to a downstairs huge balcony for our use including a market umbrella. Both rooms had separate aircon controls & a large tv ( and English channels yeah!) and a marble bathroom with shower/bath, toilet and a bidet. AND heaps of wardrobe space!!!Overall I loved this stay and would highly recommend this to anyone especially our room!! Breakfast was included and had a large variety to choose. Wife, hubby and adult daughter

Room Tip: Large room with balcony was a winner for us. Ask for quiet/newly renovated room as we did.

The location of this hotel was excellent. It is situated 5 mins away by walk from Fontana di Trevi. There are a number of restaurants in the vicinity of this hotel. The check in was very fast and easy. There was a good variety of food for breakfast and anything that finished was replenished. The room was clean with good air conditioning. The hotel also offered airport transfers. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Rome.

We stayed at the Accademia hotel 2 nights in August 2012. You can hear the running water of the Trevi Fountain as you walk out of the front door. From their you can practically access most of Rome's main attraction by foot. the hotel is also located near a bus stop (several lines including one serving the central station) and not far from a metro station. The room was clean and well kept throughout our stay. The walls are thin which can be very disturbing when you have a noisy neighbour. the staff was helpful
