We stayed for two nights on our first trip to Italy. We were greeted warmly and received great service during our stay. They also arranged transportation from the airport and to our cruise terminal and all of that ran smoothly. I was prepared for how small the rooms were but they had everything needed for a comfortable visit. The best part that it was just a short walk to the Trevi Fountain and cute trattorias. My only negative was the breakfast. It's great that it was included but the food was just okay. The second morning we chose boiled eggs over scrambled and that helped. They also served "American coffee" which made us believe they have never had a cup of coffee in America because it was not good at all. Despite that, we would definitely stay there again.

Centrally located in Rome near the Spanish Steps. Close to everything. Rooms are small, but very clean. Amenities in the room abound, including evening "night cream" place on the bed. Breakfast was excellent with many options: eggs, bacon, sausage, croissants, coffee or cappuccino, sweets. Breakfast is included with price.

Room tip: We had 301 and 304. They were identical rooms. No real view to speak of.

This is perfect location in Rome. The staff is fantastic. Their recommendations perfect. They even help you with Italian. The rooms are clean and cozy. There’s a little terrace you can sit and enjoy a bottle of wine.

The service provided by every staff member is what we expected of a 5-star hotels and we were not disappointed.

The room overlooked the street which allowed us to open the window and enjoy the sounds of the city and yet when closed kept the room quiet. The hotel is centrally located on a small street in the old city of Rome so we could walk to almost any place we wanted to visit. It is within meters and minutes of the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and so many other sites. The desk clerk could have a cab at the door within 5 minutes if one was desired. Within 20 minutes walk (in opposite directions) is Vatican City and the Colloseum. Because the street is so small, vehicles larger that small vans didn't us it.

The bed was comfortable; the shower stall a bit small but understandable for the age of the building (presented no problem for me at 5'9"/200lbs); The lights and HVAC required the room key to be inserted into a wall slot such that when leaving the room, lights, outlets, and AC was off-this energy saving feature was no impediment to our comfort. The elevators fit 4 mostly average sized (Americans) "intimately" which added to the charm of the place.

Breakfast had a good selection and everything was of excellent quality (if not for the runny scrambled eggs which some in our party couldn't look at; but I loved). One can get a drink at the bar after the very-close places rolled up the sidewalks at 9pm.

What we liked least was the amount of storage in the room for clothing - drawers and hangers. But again this is an older building and we had just came from a pleasure cruise on a brand-new ship with more storage than we could have imagined. So, we packed too light for the 11-night cruise and too heavy for a 4-night stay here. This was a minor concern.

What we liked best is the location on a small, quiet, centrally located street.

Love the terrace room and bar service.
Breakfast eggs were always cold, not kept warm enough to enjoy. Jerry the bellhop very enjoyable to talk with along with Bartender's. Great choice of light dinner menu and drinks if we wanted to stay in for the night.
