Stayed here for a few days over the new year and in common with many other reviewers, the rooms really are the stand out negative feature, they really are small by anyone's standards and I wouldn't say its a 4 star hotel. However you can live with that because everything else is more than adequate, the staff, breakfast and service are all good, but the biggest plus is the location, about 150 yards from the Trevi fountain and within walking distance of many other tourist sites and loads of restaurants nearby.

Our first experience with the hotel was not pleasent at all, with us arriving kinda late from a stressful train ride from Firenze. The guy at the reception desk didn't have a good English and it seemed he was new, as he wasn't really knowledgeable about tours and attractions, but the really annoying thing was the guy that picked up our luggage and showed us to our room, he was trying way too much to be funny, trying to make little and stupid jokes every time, interrupting us when we were trying to communicate with the reception desk to make stupid comments, etc. But luckily, this guy only worked late night shifts and the other people were really polite and thoughtful with us. The breakfest area was big enough, with decent food. The rooms were really small, but okay and extremely clean. It seems they are investing big money on renovating the whole hotel, with modern furniture. Even so, it doesn't feel right, as it is way too expensive hotel for what it offers. I guess that what you are really paying for is the outstanding location, 1 min from the Fontana de Trevi and walking distance to every attraction, except the Vatican. All in all, it was a good experience, but a little bit expensive.

Do not let them put you into 102 or 103, noisy and small. No place to sit in the rooms. When we complained we were offered a larger room, or a suite in the old section. More room, but bed was like concrete to me. Still service was excellent, breakfast great, and location superb.

Had a great stay and were lucky enough to be upgraded to a superior room. As expected rooms are small in the centre of Rome but my only comment would be is how small would a standard room be? Apart from that all was good -staff helpful, breakfast good, location excellent. Rome is beautiful and you would not be making a mistake to stay here.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a superior room!!

Just returned from this hotel. The location was perfect close to the Trevi Fountain in a lovely part of Rome. The staff were all very helpful which made it for us as the rooms were very small and the decor a bit tired. They are in the process of renovating the hotel so maybe by next year there will be a difference. They will recommend the restaurant next door for food as they do not have a dining area in the evening. Please do not go there as the L'Amoure restaurant across the road is a far more superior place to eat in every way Brilliant!!!! The safe in the rooms definitely need sorting out always a problem and the hair dryers for the ladies take your own!!! Breakfast was self service buffet which was fine plenty of choice. Again the best part of this hotel is the staff at reception especially the 2 older men they went that extra mile to ensure your stay was special.

This hotel could not be better located. All attractions are within walking distance.
The hotel was clean, welcoming and helpful.
The superior rooms, although some may be small, were bright with sit up beds which replaced the need for armchairs after a tiring day.
All the staff were cheerful and accommodating. Paulo on the desk, was exceptional and the porters, breakfast staff and chamber maids could not be faulted.
No request was too much for them to deal with.

Room Tip: The superior rooms are modern. If allocated a small one, ask for a bigger.
