“Great Hotel!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 5, 2013

As a Canuck, when I heard there was a hotel Canada in Rome (and it got great reviews) I knew we had to stay there!! And we were not disappointed!

We had just got off a cruise and arrived at the hotel around 10 am in the morning and believe it or not, our room was ready a few minutes later and we were allowed to check in! Was very nice of them to allow that.

The room itself was top notch! Very nice furniture, crown molding, very artys ceiling, beautiful bathroom! We have stayed in more $$$ hotels and they were not as nice as this one.

Staff were friendly and professioanal.

Location: Short walk to Termini Station and even not that long of a walk from the Colosseum--which we did. Not sure how long it took as we stopped for coffee and took pictures, was a very nice walk, maybe 30-40 min walk.

The only small negative was the AC---It really was not that hot out, so it was fine, we would have just preferred the room to be a tad cooler. When we checked out at 0420 am, I believe the front desk guy stated they had not yet turned on the AC for the building as the temps were not hot enough yet. So I'm guessing when it does warm up, they turn on the AC.

We were very impressed, and we had a great stay! They even had 2 travel toothbrushes, nice soaps, shampoos, slippers. A great stay!

Very nice place to stay. Would stay again. Great location. Clean hotel with lovely rooms and friendly staff. Nice breakfast and ceoliac friendly as they supplied gluten free cakes and bread for us with no extra charge.

Stay dates May 8 – 11, 2013. This is an excellent Hotel about a 10-minute easy walk to Termini Train Station. There are lots of restaurants in the area. Front desk provided us with several very good recommendations for both lunch and dinner. Rooms are very clean, baths are spacious, and windows are soundproof. Breakfast is American /European varied enough to satisfy anyone. They have a happy hour in the evening around 5 PM. The lounge area is very nice and comfortable. It’s a good way to unwind before dinner. They provide munchies and the wine is very reasonable. A 250ml bottle runs about 4 euros. Front desk will call for a cab when you ask. It takes about 3 minutes and they are registered. You can get to most locations for about 12-15 euros. Distance and traffic will affect trip cost. We will definitely stay here again.

This beautiful hotel was right out of a movie! Old world charm in the room with a beautiful large bathroom. We found the room elegant, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was the best ever with homemade baked items and all sorts of meats and cheese. Location was close to the bus or train. Wish they could clone this hotel all over Europe.

You will not regret this hotel. Walking distance to the train station. The roman style of the rooms is perfect. No noise, great beds, after a long flight I could not want more. The service is numero uno ! I would go back anytime. It is difficult to find a clean hotel for that price.

Room Tip: we had room 104 , it was great!

This hotel had a great location - just a quick walk from Termini and a very quick walk to a metro station.

There were a few little eateries around which were nice.

The staff were all very friendly and the hotel very clean. I loved the old world look of it on the inside - so charming. The rooms were also made up to look very old, but still felt very wonderful. I enjoyed being able to open our windows and shutters in the morning and look out into beautiful Rome.

The breakfast was really something else. There was SO much food to choose from and all very tasty - there is NO way you could go hungry during the day while staying here. Each day our server was very polite and the breakfast area was very nice (way more than you would find here in North America). There was a bread and pastry table. A dessert table. A meat table. A hot foods table. Cereals, drinks, you name it they had it. Delicious!

The staff at the bar and the bar area was also very nice. Drinks were great and very affordable. We spent many nights down there enjoying a drink after our long days of exploring in Rome.

Overall a great experience and I would definitely return here if (when) we are back in Rome :)

I stayed here recently with friends for a long weekend and have a great time. The hotel was clean tidy and very well presented. The staff were friendly and keen to help. The rooms were a nice size and comfy. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty to choose from and you could really begin a long tiring day well fed. The bar area was lovely with very well priced drinks but overall a nice atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it if you're travelling to Rome.
