“Nice Room, Great Service and breakfast”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 15, 2012

We stayed there for 1 night and would stay longer next time. The receptionists, waiters and waitress are wonderful. Great breakfast!!!! Room is nice and clean!

We walked from termini train station to hotel and took us 20 minutes. Makets, restaurants are few minutes away from hotel. Nice location.

Spent four nights in this hotel. The reception was excellent and friendly. Middle walking distance from the city center and all atractions. Close to Termini station and metro station. The room was cleaned every day with towels change.

Spent only one night here awaiting our flight back to Montreal after a train trip from Venice. Very conveniently located a short walk from principle train station. Staff were friendly & efficient. Room was furnished in art deco style with some period pieces. Was a little unfamiliar with key card electrical activation but main desk straightened it out right away. Breakfast was good. Best Western style Italian. Would go back on next trip to Rome.

Room Tip: Was on 2d floor even though centrally located was still quiet.

It's located very near the Termini railway station, I carried a foot injury with me on my trip to Rome so being very close to a metro stop was very convenient too. It was only 1 stop from Termini from which you can travel anywhere in Rome. A 3 day pass on the metro was only €16.00 and you can use it as much as you like to get pretty much anywhere.

The hotel itself was very nice and clean the rooms are nicely decorated as you would expect in true Arte Deco theme.
At first I thought the service was a bit abrupt, but you get used to this as it just seems to be the Italian way of being polite! Don't take offence!

It is in what seems to be a very safe area, it is situated slap bang in the middle of a number of military administration buildings. There are armed guards on duty on every street corner 24/7 around the hotel. This doesn't sound very relaxing but they are friendly and polite and it doesn't feel oppressive at all.

I would happily stay here again and again, but i would avoid the restaurant at the hotel.
The food choice was very limited, the buffet choice was cold and not kept under heat lamps, the food was okay but not great, was seriously over priced for the standard of food.
The waiter couldn't care less about serving us, was just more interested in going out the front for a cigarette with the chef and chatting to his mates!

My family are Italian and trust me, I know my Italian cuisine! There are much better quality and value restaurants on the same street just 100m walk down the road.

Breakfast was good value and a decent quality, typical Italian food which is nice. The morning waiting staff were a lot more attentive.

In all, I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family as a b&b.
The location is very safe and well connected.

Just avoid the evening meal!

Just had one night at the hotel. The reception was excellent and friendly (not the Rome I remember when sulleness was the order of the day). We were a little early so the hotel stored our cases and off we went sight seeing. We returned to find our luggage in our room.

The room was a very good size for Rome very clean and well kept, the bathroom looked like new and the air conditioning worked like a dream. The hotel suggested some near by resaurants which we chose Mamma Angela's, a very good choice.

The breakfast was excellent, scambled eggs bacon, cheese, meats, croissants etc I really filled up for the start of the day.

I thank the hotel and staff for this wonderful introduction to Rome which many hotels could learn from.

We booked superior room for Honeymoon and were a bit sad to find out shops/restaurants around hotel were closed for an official holiday - Art Deco staff went out of there way to find us great restaurants, to recommend places to go to and room were cleaned twice a day. We asked for a cake and champagne and we received the most beautiful cake and lovely bottle of champers.

Two of the staff who went extra mile were Jose and Domineque - they helped us find beautiful restaurants and were really helpful and friendly.

Embassies in same street as hotel, including British embassey so good security round hotel - close enough to metro but not too close to all hustle and bustle of city - most things within walking distance if you are ok walking about 30 mins to places.

Room Tip: Would recommend superior room at hotel - but extra but so worth it for beautiful 4 poster bed.

My two teenage daughters and I stayed here for three nights in August and were quite pleased. It is located in a quiet neighborhood only minutes away from the metro and and a short walk to the Termini train station. If we realized how close it was, we would have walked instead of hiring a taxi upon our arrival at the train station.

Our room was clean and spacious with a queen size sleigh bed and a twin size bed. The bathroom was roomy and had a large tub. We had a corner room with two large windows on each side. Most of the corner rooms are larger than the others so try to request a corner room if possible. Breakfast consisted of a variety of hot and cold items. We had some issues with the wi-fi but it worked a majority of the time.

I find that the Best Western's are all well maintained in Europe with quite reasonable rates. I have yet to be disappointed. Another bonus is that the rates are reasonable. I stayed at another hotel near the Spanish Steps (not a BW) many years ago for far more money and not as well maintained. I am forever true to BW!
