“nice hotel, not nice staff, terrible location”
Reviewed November 8, 2012

Hotel by itself is nice. Room is okay, big, clean, etc. BUT, I was incredibly shocked with staff's approach as for the tourists. We're travelling by bus, with group, so it was appraised like we're like a flock of sheeps, so personal approach is not necessary. At the reception they gave as wrong info how to get to the hotel from the metro, so we lost in the evening in this "beautiful" district, trying to find the correct way around 1.5 hours... By the way - separate note as for hotel location - this place is advised to the quests travelling by car, passing Rome in transit.

I stayed here because I was on a budget and didnt want to stay in Roma itself, this hotel is good to stay away from Roma.

There is a supermarket down the road, its very Italian great fresh foods & a few little cafes & take away shops ! I found this area to be completely different to staying in Roma itself as it felt more Italian here !

Hotel room was clean, breakfast was average, dinner was nice, people were friendly although there problems with me checking out with reception as they didnt have it marked down that I had already paid which I did and I nearly missed my flight as they wouldnt let me leave - very stressful.

Pool area looked average - nice sunny areas though.

Overall the hotel was fine !!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a pool view - you get some sun in th ee

Stayed here for one night 27th October after Ryan Air flight from Manchester into Ciampino. On arrival ring the hotel which is approx 3KM away and they will send the shuttle bus to collect you as long as its before 11pm .The bus arrived in approx 10 mins .There is supposed to be a charge of 3 euros per person .Yes the hotel is isolated but we arrived at 10.30pm and were leaving at 10.30am the next morning .We paid approx £90 including basic continental breakfast for a double and triple room for 5 people in our party .There is a city tax of 2 euros per person payable on check out.The cheapest rate was with lastminute.com and we got 10% off voucher off next booking. The rooms are basic and clean ok for our purposes if a little hot .I don't think they have the air con on at his time of year.Next day we had booked a shuttle transfer with click for transfer to the cruise port at Civitavecchia .The driver could not find the hotel and was half an hour late but the reception guy was very helpful in giving directions and eventually we were found .Please make sure you are clear on address if you use a transfer.Journey to the port was approx 1 hour.Would use the hotel again if cruising from Rome.

Pros:

Clean room
Free wifi
Helpful receptionists.

Cons:

IN THE MIDDLE OF NO WHERE. (There are actually 2 locations for this hotel on google maps, so to save you getting lost in pouring rain like we did get the metro to anagnina station the take the 503 bus from the bus stop and get off along the highway there is a sign on the side of the road. Or you can call the hotel and request a shuttle pick up from anagnina station which wasn't offered to us when we booked.)
Crap dinner.
Crap breakfast.
No pool (Because it's cold apparently)

For what you pay here you can stay in a far more central hotel or even save money and goto a cheaper hostel with more food options.

I'd don't recommend staying here unless you're doing it lastminute like we did.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else.

It's a nice Hotel, quite modern, clear, well kept and with professional staff. For sure it's not in the city centre, but went in a group and it was very comfortable. I think some people do not realize how much they pay and how much they expect. For the price I pay it's very good.
