These guys do not have a clue about how to appeal to foreign tourists. Information about travelling around from the hotel is scant. The rooms are ok, you can hear everyone coming and going at all hours, the beds are small and not very comfortable. Generally, I'd avoid this is you are staying for more than one night, Transport links are a nightmare from here. The nearby train station (that we had to find ourselves) aren't fitted with a ticket machine which is a bit of a pain if, as in Italy, it's illegal to travel without a validated ticket. The hotel doesn't sell them. Of course.

Dear electricgeisha,
Thank you for taking the time and write us your experience in Holiday Inn Rome Eur Parco dei Medici. I do apologize if some of the services did not find your expectations. I have informed our General Manager about your comments and I know that corrective steps have been taken in order to improve our standards immediately.
For your information, inside the hotel there is a travel agency and a gifts shop which sells the bus/train tickets; as for the train station, many of our guests appreciate the short distance from the station to the hotel. I regret that you did not find it useful.
I really hope it will not be the last time you visit us. With our best regards,

Our family (with kids of 9 and 14 years old) in Italy, as we booked late during the Easter holiday, so not many choices left. But very glad we booked this hotel, even it is a little bit far away from the downtown, as hotel 's just 3 mins walking to the train station, and the train connection is pretty good and smooth(every 20 mins - 30 mins a train, so pls make sure you manage your time well. Room is huge for 4 of us, and hotel staff provided us an extra bed for the younger(free of charge , with thanks!) Buffet is good enough , many choice, we saw some families with kids and bussiness people on Monday. It s a little bit cold to swim in the outside pool in April , but gyms worked for our older one. Tips: Best to buy a day travel tickets which including the train and tube fare. In Roma, we find it is a good value hotel, so we came back again on the way back before heading to home.

Stayed @ the Holiday Inn EUR - are 1st time in Rome - Beautiful city. Hotel & Rooms were large & clean - Breakfast buffett was top notch. The staff gave us a remarkable cutomer service - friendly, helpful and went that extra mile in making are trip one to remember which we certanily will. A special THNAK U to Marco Martini ( bar manager ) who went that extra mile to make are trip and stay at the hotel very special and unforgetable with his customer service. Also the hotel driver Varello who showed us Rome in style and so friendly and helpful - we cannot fault the staff who were great at greeting and meeting their customers in this way. The hotel should be very proud in having staff like that who make their customers feel welcoming. The only down side is the bus shuttle from hotel we were not told before hand about this service re: price wise and where to purchase the tickets etc but apart from that we cannot fault this hotel. If ever we return back to Rome we will certainly be staying at this hotel again.

I stayed for 4 night at Holiday Inn EUR while attending a conference in Rome. The surroundings are very boring and there is not much to do near the hotel, but it is very easy to take a train to the airport or the city. The rooms were large and clean, the breakfast buffet nice (even though the ample staff seemed very clueless and unprofessional) and there was a small but OK fitness room. A great hotel for business, but I would recommend something more cosy for turists

Dear Betteskov,
Thank you for taking the time to write your comments regaring your recent stay at Holiday Inn Rome Eur Parco dei Medici.
I know that the surrounding of our hotel is not so amusant. Our hotel stands in a business location so that there is not so much to see. In any case, with the public transportation together with our shuttle bus you can reach the city centre very quickly. Thank you also for your comments on our restaurant. Guests like you unable us to improve our services and to make your next stay much better.
Thank you again for your support. With kind regards

During last night in Rome, we decided to use my Holiday Inn points and stay closer to airport prior to heading home. The hotel was clean and rooms were spacious. Not the place if you are looking to get a feel for "true Rome," but was not bad for the last evening after spending all day walking Rome.

We had parked our car closer the city and then drove out to the hotel late in the evening.

I was told that there is a train stop a few minutes from the entrance, which then connects with the Rome Metro system. May not be ideal from a location standpoint but was a great jumping off point with only 15 minutes by car to the FCO airport or even to jump on to the autostrada to points beyond!

Also, I do recall that the room walls were pretty thin, so it was easy to hear next door conversations in the morning.

Did not eat any food at the restaurant so cannot comment on this aspect

Food in the restaurant was three steps below mediocre, it's relatively easy to get to Rome from, but if you are doing anything other than business at WFP or in Parco dei Medici stay elsewhere as it's meh. But, that said, the staff were friendly and helpful. Internet was slow to average.

Situated off the motorway towards Rome from the Airport it is in the middle of offices and nothing else. The hotel is old and showing its age, from peeling walls in the corridors, old fashioned windows and not much in terms of ammenities. Only stay there if you are close for business and collect points from HI otherwise there are better choices around or EUR quarter of Rome 10 km further on.
No wifi in rooms.

Room Tip: Didn't see any possibility of a nice room.
