This little boutique hotel on the first floor of a large old house was a real find. It is located in the Prati area, a residential district near the Vatican, on the corner of Via Cola di Rienzo, a favourite shopping street for Romans, not generally known by tourists.

We stayed here for 4 nights, occupying 2 of the 5 rooms: numbers 10 and 12. Both rooms were large, tastefully decorated and very clean, with air conditioning, free WiFi, comfortable beds, a minibar, coffee/tea making facilities, and best of all very well-equipped bathrooms.

The large bedroom windows with shutters keep out the sun and the noise from outside.

Breakfast from 8.30 was ample, with tea or Nespresso coffee, sugar-glazed croissants, toast, boiled eggs, yoghurt, home-made cake and fresh fruit.

In short 4-star quality for a very reasonable price close to the heart of ancient Rome.
The Vatican and Ponte Sant' Angelo are only short walks away, and Piazza Navona is well within walking distance. The nearest metro stop Lepanto, 5 minutes' walk away, will take you to Rome Termini train station. On the way you can get out at Spagna for the Spanish Steps or at Barberini for the Trevi Fountain. Trastevere is easily reached using bus 280.

Although the reception desk is only manned at certain times of the day, the staff are always ready to help and advise. On arrival we were immediately made to feel welcome with a cup of coffee and a croissant.

Room Tip: Room 10 is the largest room with a king-size bed and a great walk-in shower, with a large shower h...

My family stayed here for 7 nights and loved it. The two girls that we interacted with at the front desk and at breakfast have wonderfully kind personalities and made us feel very welcome and helped us with anything. This place is very small like a mini hotel and less like a B & B. The decor was modern, yet classic in charming ways at the same time. We slept so peacefully at night because there was no street noise, and so few guests to hear any come and go, also the hotel info asks guest to keep quiet at night. The bed was so comfortable and the sheets and pillows soft and good quality. Its location is good, about 4 blocks from a metro station. You can easily walk to the major sights of the Vatican and Castle Saint Angelo. It is located on a street of shops, so fun in the day and quiet at night.

We stayed just one night on our way to a wedding in Umbria. Having never been to Rome before we needed somewhere we could really rely on as a good base to explore from as well as being peaceful and restful. This B&B is absolutely fantastic in every way. The service in particular from the receptionist Nausica was personable, friendly and very helpful. There was a public transport strike on and she helped us to plan around it which took the stress out of our travelling. The room was beautiful. We had a standard room but it was great - lovely furnishings, clean and smelt lovely. The shower was fab and a great size - all really new and modern. The breakfast was well supplied and set us up for our day to explore Rome. The location is as everyone says on here really convenient and we walked everywhere easily from there. We booked the airport transfer which was reliable and good too.
I left my sunglasses in a restaurant and after emailing with Nausica since returning home to London, they have kindly even collected them from the restaurant and are arranging sending them home to me.
We really can't recommend a better place to rest your head after the exciting and busy feel of Rome with lovely staff and great value for money.

My entire family stayed here for the week of my wedding earlier this month, and we could not be more complimentary of the B&B and Giuseppe and his team! They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, even going so far as to drive to the airport to track down lost luggage for one of our guest! The B&B is beautifully done with large rooms and modern bathrooms. It is located in quiet but centrally located area of Rome. A perfect place to stay! We cannot wait to return! Thank you for helping make the wedding week stress free.

We are having a wonderful break here. The rooms are lovely just like a boutique hotel and immaculately clean. To get the same level of room in Rome in a hotel you would pay double. You can walk to the Vatican in ten minutes one way and the Spanish steps 20 mins the other.

You receive a very warm welcome the staff are just lovely. I like the fact you can come and go as you please.

Free wi fi, a mini bar which does not rip you off and complimentary hot drinks.

Breakfast is fresh delicious and served with a warm smile.

We will return for sure! Thank you to everyone at le stanze from mr and mrs pardy

We stayed at this hotel on a short break in rome. It was exactly as the description on booking.com. The staff were excellent. We were met by a young man who was very informative and then the young lady was also very helpful. Room was spotless and as said before exactly as described on the website. If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in a good location ( 10 mins walk to the Vatican ) then this is it. Added bonus if you are traveling from fumicino. One of the airport termini shuttle buses stops at the end of via orazio. Can't remember which one but check at bus stop three outside the terminal. There is no need to pre book the bus as there are plenty.

I was staying for 1 night there before joining my Trafalgar Tour Trip . Because I arrived 1 day earlier from the scheduled trip .
Very nice n modern room, even compare to the next 4 star hotel that I was staying in Rome , Le Stanze di Orazio far beyond, specially the room . This is more like a boutique Hotel .
Higly recommend this hotel for anybody who wants to travel to Rome . Great Location .
Transfer to and from airport also available with a reasonable price .
