We found this nice restaurant by accident during our Rome trip last week. When we passed the restaurant, Bruno asked us to try the kitchen which we did two days later. We were really positively surprised: Excellent food, good wine and drinks for really fair prices.

We asked for something special not shown on the menu card and Bruno offered one evening noodles with mushrooms and truffels and a second evening tagliatelle. Absolutely delicious! I just can recommend that Hostaria.

PS: Special thanks to Bruno! We really enjoyed your hospitality.

We were tempted to sit down for a meal by Daniele's promise of great, fresh food. We weren't disappointed as the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We had lasagne and carbonara and were surprised by great portion sizes. We've eaten in a few restaurants in Rome but we've never enjoyed food more than here. The atmosphere was excellent and Daniele with his colleague (tall guy) went the extra mile to make sure we were happy customers. Would recommend.

This place was just not good. We went their because of the previous reviews about their pizza and have to say it was just terrible. It tasted like something from a freezer. We also had the carbonara which was just eh. At least it was edible unlike the pizza. Another patron in the restaurant while we were there ordered the lasagna and it was still cold. Not sure how this happens with lasagna besides them just warming up premade food. The service was also lacking and then the waiter had the nerve to tell me that tip wasn't included in the check and that I had to leave him a cash tip. All I can say is STAY AWAY from this place.

We met the front of house on our way back from the Pantheon and returned to dinner on his promise that the food was amazing!

Whilst remaining quite skeptical, we sat down and ordered hamburger and chips, as well as the grilled chicken.

To say the least, the food and atmosphere was delightful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to those hungry after a day of sight seeing!

Good food, great personalities. Very reasonable prices. We returned several times. This is close to the Pantheon (200 yards from the piazza) on a busy pedestrian street. Its lively and has a lot of character. We usual avoid the restaurants that are at or near big touristy attractions thinking the food is often dumbed down, but this place is an exception. They have the normal, expected dishes yes, but they are very well done and also provide some good variety of dishes for the more adventuresome. You can't help but meet the staff. they are very outgoing. Alici helped us on 3 visits and she's very nice and helpful. Mustafa and Bruno are big personalities that make the experience fun.
