“Nice location, great pool”

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in late September, we were looking for a peaceful rest and certainly found that. Vittorio was helpful giving us information on lots of places to visit, including parking in Rome, and made us feel most welcome.
The location is ideal, you are far enough away from Rome to avoid the madness, but close enough for a visit. It appears everyone does that who stays here, but look the other way and go up into the mountains, there are some amazing views and places to eat, it is like a world away from the coast.

“The Perfect Holiday”
Reviewed September 2, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

My second stay at this Villa, the villa and gardens are so beautiful, the pool is so nice and right on the door step!....The Family are fantastic people and so accommodating and nothing is any trouble to them, they can recommend some fantastic places to see within an hours drive of the villa. Fiano Romano is a lovely area and food shopping or meals out is so easy, the open plan arrangement is really good, great air con, kitchen and Huge bed!!...........perfect for hopping on the Autostrada for day trips. Such good value for money, if you have kids then this is the place, tennis court, football pitch, swimming pool, couches on the terrace and lots of places to sit in the shade if you want to!.......just the perfect place, can't wait to come back!!!!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We loved this beautiful villa. It's spotlessly clean with a gorgeous swimming pool. Vittorio was so helpful with information on the sights of Rome. He even drove into the town to print out our tickets for us. We will definitely be back next year.

“Second holiday at this villa”
Reviewed November 14, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We came back again as I've loved it last time. It's a great base from which to visit Rome. It takes approx half an hour maximum. Francisco will give you the directions to a car park next to Spanish steps. There's nothing much in Fiano Romano in our opinion, but 2 supermarkets we visited for food which were nearby. You don't need to leave the villa though, as the kids love playing in the large pool , sunbathing or lizard hunting! We picked plums, kiwis and figs from the trees which was lovely. There is a huge football pitch to run around and play in, also table tennis table too if wanted. My husband and I spent many evenings drinking wine and eating olives at the side of the pool whilst the kids watched dvd's inside. Bliss!
Only downsides, are there is no wifi...is that a downside? Kids don't always like that, but they actually liked it in the end. The kitchen is quite small but manageable- we made pasta, home made chips etc. Francesca, his brother Vito and his mum are very friendly and always on hand to give advice. We've made some great memories here. Boiling hot lovely sun, great pool, peace- until you venture into beautiful Rome.

Liked best: Pool, football pitch, fruit on trees and great family owning property
Liked least: Driving to Rome, so no alcohol for driver ever! But kind of worth it to get to the peaceful villa.

“a little slice of paradise”
Reviewed July 12, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We wanted to treat ourselves to a special holiday to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and having searched the web, found Villa Mola. We have now just returned from the most amazing week at this stunning location. Vittorio and family were there the first couple of days to see us settled in, and Francesco came for a while mid week and was exceedingly helpful recommending places worth visiting in the surrounding area. We really enjoyed chatting to Francesco and Vittorio (their English is thankfully excellent as our Italian is non-existent) and benefited from their recommendations of restaurants, shops and sightseeing trips. They were exceptionally friendly and helpful, but not intrusive in any way. The apartment, gardens and pool are so beautiful, private and peaceful! While floating in the pool in the glorious sunshine, listening to the chirping cicadas, surrounded by the stunning continental shrubs and trees in the gardens, you could easily believe you were in paradise. Thank you so much Francesco and Vittorio and family for such a memorable and special holiday.

“Absolutely perfect”
Reviewed June 15, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

I scoured the internet for weeks to find somewhere in Italy suitable for a wheelchair user, as our four year old son has cerebral palsy. This place seemed to fit the bill, and the owner's comprehensive replies gave me more comfort that his villa was the right place.
Upon arrival, we realised it was even better than it looks on the website - and it was totally perfect for our needs, including being accessible for a wheelchair. In fact, our son had more freedom to wheel himself around than he even has at home - and for the first time ever, my wife and I could relax while he and his twin sister played together, whizzing around the gardens.
The pool is very nice - a bit fresh at first but it soon warmed up, just right after a long hot day wandering around Rome.
There is nothing to fault about this villa, and we will probably return one day - which says a lot, as we never like to go to the same place twice.
The only thing I would say, is bring some insect repellant, as there are a few mosquitoes which like to come out in the afternoon.
I wholeheartedly recommend this for anyone wanting to visit the Rome area but also want some proper relaxation at the same time.
Thanks Francesco!
