“moved one block away!! Excellent new restaurant, atmosphere, food”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

We were fortunate to be told by a neighbor, that the restaurant had moved a couple of doors down the block. We enjoyed a wonderful meal. It was full of locals, but the waitress was quite fluent in English too.

“We enjoyed it”

We tried it once for dinner and it was really nice place. Staff was friendly enough and the meals we had were tasty. Recommended place to dine.

“So far, the best restaurant in Rome ”
Reviewed February 23, 2014 via mobile

We were looking for a restaurant in the vicinity of the place we were staying. A quick search on Tripadvisor suggested this restaurant. In three words: it was great. In more detail: it was the perfect combination of super friendly service, great food and a reasonable price.
The tuna balls were a very tasty surprise, the bread was heavenly and the tuna steak was also something else. And the service, not just professional but very friendly as well.
The place is not in the center of the city, nor is it located on a main street. However, it worth any (small) effort that is required to find it.

“Great value for money”

Best meal in Rome considering the price. New location and cool interior with focus on wine. Can only recommend this place if you are fed up with pizza and want the real Rome cooking experience.

“Great food and fabulous service!”
Reviewed February 15, 2014

After a strike out down the street at Osteria Checco, my friend and I (both residents of Rome) walked into this place and immediately knew we had struck gold. The food was great: two appetizers (suppli and polpette di tonno), abbacchio for both of us, a pistacchio torta (shared), a half liter of a Cesanese, dessert wines, and coffee. Total was 70 euros -- great price! But what was really fantastic was the staff. They recommended wines and were ready to whisk anything away that we didn't like. They let us sample the dessert wines until we found one we liked. They chatted with us about the food, and it was so obvious that they were passionate about the dining experience. The decor itself is contemporary but warm and inviting. An all around pleasurable evening out. I will definitely go back.
