“Lost and Hungry in Campo Marzio”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 31, 2013

My wife and I were traversing between the Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona, got lost, and ended up here, on a small side street somewhere between the two landmarks. The food was ok, nothing spectacular. The service was fine. The house vino bianco was decent (it's hard to beat typical Roman vino bianco della casa, which is usually a refreshing frascati). It was a bit much for what we got. No locals dined here, just us, and a couple of French couples. The restaurant next to it had even fewer patrons. I'd keep walking if I were you. There are lots of decent places on Piazza della Rotunda and just west of Piazza Navona. Don't settle while in Rome.

“Nice place for lunch”

The staff here were very friendly. It's hidden down a lane but worth finding for some lunch. Very relaxed and the prive was reasonable as well. We would go back

“Nice pasta and friendly staff.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 26, 2013 via mobile

We had two lovely tasting bowls of pasta. The portions were a bit small but the service was friendly and the waiters spoke good english. There are 15 outdoor tables under heating which was great on a cloudy day and loads more inside. I would eat here again.

“not good value”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2013 via mobile

after spending some time now in Italy this restaurant was aimed at the naive tourist. fodd was over priced for what it was. service aas ok but aimed at up selling everything. they even added the tip...fof our convenience.

our now rule of thumb. ...don't go into place where they have hawkers withe the smooth talk.

“Lovely atmosphere with fantastic food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 21, 2013

I read through the reviews and wondered if the negative reviewers had the right place. I ate here 4 nights in a row. Every dish was terrific and the canollis and tiramisu were perfect. The house wine was delicious and the serving quite generous. The outdoor seating is cozy on a cobbled alley with awnings, lemon plants, tablecloths. The wait staff is superb. I thought it was reasonably priced even considering the 2 euro per person service charge.
