“Perfect hotel for a weekend trip to Rome”
Reviewed July 5, 2013

Arriving too early for regular check-in, we could go straight to our room. The room was quite huge, with all the wanted extras one could imagine (clean, tidy, AC, huge bed, nice breakfast and very friendly staff etc.). The nights are quite calm (as Villa Pirandello is a little bit apart from the center, but using the subway you´re there in about 20 minutes including the walk to the station). If we come back to Rome, we will probably go back to Villa Pirandello.

We are presently staying here, booked a double room for seven nights. The first three nights were enough to write a wonderful recommendation. Our room is large and has a terrace, the bathroom is very modern, plenty of water pressure, hot and cold. Staff is friendly, helpful, and most of them speak English very well, so no communication issues. The neighborhood is quiet and it is really only about a 5-7 minute walk to the Bologna metro, which is 3 stops north of Termini. It was about a 15 minute metro ride to the Forum area. We are more than happy with the hotel, the location, and the breakfast, which is a nice assortment of fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, breads, meats, cheese and sweet type pastries. Would recommend for anyone who wants to enjoy Rome, but have some quiet and peaceful evenings and nights.

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a 4 week tour of of Italy. The hotel is in the embassy area of Rome, so fine if you don't mind being away from the main tourist sites. A €20 taxi will get you back to the centre of town, maybe less if you negotiate better. The hotel is beautifully modern, clean, lovely place to stay. Rooms small, bathroom fine in size. Wifi free, coverage in rooms poor. AC - yay, perfecto, did the job in the heat (first hotel of dozens to cope). Very helpful staff, breakfast on the verandah very pleasant. Highly recommended as long as you don't mind staying out of town.

This hotel is located in the Nomentana district about 10-15 min walk to Bologna Metro. It is quiet, well-run with excellent breakfast and helpful staff. Taxi transfer was arranged to and from the airport and we were given maps and directions to the sites of interest we wanted to visit. If you fancy eating locally try Momart which was fabulous. Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 13 in twin beds which overlooked an quiet residential area. Lovely shower!

I'm currently staying there and love it. It's about 15 minutes or so from Piazza Venezia by bus and 3 metro stops from the Termini, and the area it is located in seems to be quiet and peaceful. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is complimentary and amazing. It's basically a variety of meats, cheeses, fruit cakes, and any coffee beverage is prepared on command. It's a small hotel which is also nice. For the same price in the city center you would probably stay in a box, so its a good bet. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was a gem! The room was clean and comfortable with a modern bathroom. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was amazing...freshly made cappuccino on order! The hotel is located in a residential area, a 5-10 minute walk to the bus stops and a 10-15 minute walk to the Bologna metro stop. It will take you approx. 30 minutes to get to the center of Rome on the public transportation. It is near the lovely Villa Torlonia...definitely worth a visit. We would definitely stay there again.

Me and my girlfriend use to travel a lot, but it's unusual for us to find such a lovely place!
Staff is kind, gentle and well informed. The hotel is simply wonderful, clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast is great and the location is very nice.
