Recently stayed here during a multi country trip. Not my first trip to Rome. Very hard to beat the location of the Residenza Maritti. The location is a couple blocks from the Colosseum with many great restaurants in easy walking vicinity. Kitchen was very well stocked/equiped. As mentioned in other reviews, the onsite manager was very helpful. Rooms were clean, quiet, and private. Price excellent. The stay was very positive! I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Where can I start ? I rented a car, have no idea where the parking lot is, the owner drove his own car to lead me to the parking lot, drove me back to the residence even when he is on a tight schedule with a meeting with his friend. We were 2 hours late from our scheduled key pick up but he is still there waiting with no grumble and don't charge you anything. The kitchen is fully equipped. Wifi is smooth, coffees and adequate cooking ware. The bed is comfortable and the room is clean and big. Only thing can be improved is the shower power.

We enthusiastically recommend staying at the Residenza Maritti, it is a very comfortable and warm Bed & Breakfast. Your host GianLuca is delightful, gracious and extremely helpful. The rooms are comfortable and the amenities (breakfast foods and access to a full kitchen) are excellent. If you enjoy walking the Residenza Maritti is the perfect location, we were able to walk to all of the places of interest we wanted to see (the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps and the Vatican). There are plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops to visit. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Rome.

Residenza Maritti, is a home away from home!!
The very welcoming host, Gianluca, made every effort to help us with making our stay in Rome special. Directions, transport arrangements, etc, everything is available at a phonecall to the host. Provisions for a breakfast, compared to a five-star hotel, a comfortable room, with self contained bathrooms, excellent maintenance, can only beckon me to go back when I visit Rome again. A very central place, literally a stone's throw away from important historic places in Rome. Reasonably priced, I think I was living in luxury.

Room Tip: Every room at Residenza Maritti is exquisite.

Excellent plan to stay at Residenza Maritti. This is exactly what i was looking for. A charming greeting by the host, a friendly and relaxed atmosphere this is what you will find there. Dear future traveller the Residenza Marritti is situated in the area which is a limit between a reality and a hole history of humanity. Start your visit by terrace, have a lonely look around of a majestic city, open your map and go ahead, Gianluca will also help with a some good advises. Good luck!

Staying at Residenza Maritti is a lot better than staying at an impersonal hotel. We were greeted by the owner, Gianlucca Maritti, who took the time to show us around the area, take us to the tourist office, and give us important tips. Besides, the location is perfect. You are steps away from the Colosseum and the Imperial Forum. San Pietro in Vincoli, with the Moses by Michelangelo, is close by, as well as a myriad of other attractions. And my favourite restaurant in Rome, Fafiuchè, is also very close – it was the only place where I went twice.

Room Tip: Sometimes a car passing by or people talking loud in the street may wake you if you are a light slee...

We went to Rome for Christmas holiday. The hotel is located in the very center of Historic Rome at five minutes walkink from the Coliseum. The price is excellent considering the location. You have access to a kitchen with everything you need and internet connection. Finally Gianluca is really friendly and welcoming. He gave us helpfull informations regarding restaurants and attractions to visit. We would certainly recommend it to friends and family and are willing to visit again in the futur.
