Fabio Massimo is situated in a residential area and is great value for money. The room we stayed in was modern, clean and quiet, and had a fantastic shower with constant hot water. Breakfast was included in price and there was plenty of choice, all fresh. Situated in a quiet residential area there are plenty of restaurants to choose from frequented by Italians and very good value for money - do try Piero e Francesco restaurant as the food is absolutely amazing and the owner very personable and understandably proud of his restaurant. The hotel is near to two metro stations which enablequick and easy travelling to the tourist sites in Rome, although the the Vatican is within easy walking distance from hotel. Only reason for giving hotel 4/5 is that it is not easy to identify from the road as the name plate is small (the hotel is situated on the fourth floor in a block of private apartments) so look carefully, but this should not put you off as it really is an excellent hotel and we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again when in Rome.

Room Tip: Perhaps ask for road side room rather than internal, but would not be that worried.

Thank you for your great and perfect feedback.
In fact for being in a central and elegant building, we cannot put big lighting signals to be recognized, but you can truly find us.
It was a pleasure to have you here and we will be pleased to receive you again, whenever you decide to come back to Rome.

Fabio massimo is in the Prati region, it is very safe as is all of rome and although the area is quieter (there are locals restaurants and bars much cheaper than more commercial areas) you are about 15 mins walk from the piazza novona with stacks of restaurants and bars and 3 mins from a metro line (again very safe at night). The hotel really is fantastic with stylish rooms, very clean, free soft drinks and lots of space and the most, informative, friendly and helpful staff I have ever met. Lovely breakfast, omelette was amazing and a small but perfectly formed selection of continental, cereal, pastries etc (there are 9 rooms in the hotel) plus a very affordable and good selection of drinks post a day of site seeing.
Get the yellow tourist bus for unlimited stops and fast service with a stop just 5 mins away from hotel at the Vatican.

We stayed here for four nights with a 20 m o toddler. Rooms were great and very kid friendly I.e not precious and very roomy as was the bathroom also. Raffaela was very friendly and helped us with our many baby related requests including where to buy a cheap pram as our baby pack was not the ideal travelling solution we had hoped! Hotel is close to some great restaurants, supermarket and pharmacy and the Vatican which is ideal to be close to, as we had to travel there each day to the ORP office at the Vatican to begin the Roma Christiana tour, had we been far away it would have been a real inconvenience! Breakfast was continental and was just enough for us and there was a baby chair available for us each day. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is very conveniently located between 2 metro stops, and just a short walk away from the Vatican City. Lots of restaurant and shopping choices abound as well. We got a huge room with a large bathroom.

Included breakfast was great, though the addition of some fresh fruit would really make it excellent. And WIFI and minibar were free.

Staff is friendly and very helpful.

This hotel, near Vaticano, is really beautiful. The staff is nice and attentive! Continental breakfast is delicious! They serve especially croissant and marmellate sweets.
Rooms are large and confortable.
In the area there are lots of restaurants.

We stayed one night pre-cruise at the Fabio Massimo Design hotel and found it very comfortable with a great, walkable location. While it did have some exciting design elements (loved the rainfall shower ceiling!), I could imagine that the 6 hanger "display" closet would be unsuitable for a longer stay. Breakfast was good and the staff was outstanding.

You could not ask for more from the staff of this gem of a hotel, from advice on restaurants to getting you tickets for the different sites. We spend 9 great days at this hotel and it was worth every dollar spent. There are some great restaurants within a short walk of the hotel and the subway is only a five min walk away.
