“A great gem of a church (or churches)!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 26, 2012

Go see three levels of history in this somewhat creepy setting (you'll know what I mean). Decidedly Roman in every way, this is the most unique church you will go into in Rome. Get a guidebook, or read the signs to get the whole story here while in the church. Worth the few € it takes to go to the sublevels, don't even think twice here. Near the collisium.

“Spooky and good”

The excavations are presented in a manner befitting a centuries old site. Detailed explanations on what-when are presented . I did not find any guides here and are probably best avoided by people who are claustrophobic

“Must visit place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 19, 2012

I was over whelmed at the size of the venue. It a must place to visit. Just near the bridge, easy to find. I loved the architecture. Definitely a good place to visit if ever in Rome.
