Three blocks from the Colosseum, in a quiet street, this hotel has a tremendous amount of return clients. Our first stay at this hotel, we stayed for five days, and I would go back in a heartbeat. Service, clean rooms with amazing patio, and location, make this a standout.

Great location for walking distance to local historical sights. Front desk extremely helpful and friendly. Bright and cheerful rooms, nice breakfast in quiet neighborhood. We did not eat dinner here because we wanted to sample local restaurants but menus looked very nice. Would definitely stay here again.

It's a small, very friendly family run hotel within walking distance from the Colosseum, which can be seen on the top floor terraces.
The breakfast is enough to fill you for your long days ahead walking around Rome. The 3 course evening meal, which is very reasonably priced is although limited in choice, very nice indeed and comes with house wine included.
The rooms range from small to vast, however they're all very comfortable and completely adequate. And all very tastefully decorated in a traditional Italian style.
I've stayed there twice now and will definitely be returning. Everyone who I've recommended it to has loved it, as do my patents who have stayed here 6 times now.

We have stayed in this hotel six times and each time it has not dissapointed. The staff are friendly, knowlegable and make us feel at home and Mrs Khan has put together an excellent set of people who have not changed in the 10 years we have been visiting, so we feel that this speaks for itself. Yes it is a bit pricey but it is a city hotel near the Coliseum. Stay in and try out the food one evening well worth it. We cannot recommend this hotel and its staff highly enough.

Room Tip: The 6th floor has great views of the Coliseum

A very nice hotel on a quiet street but nice and close to the Colosseum and other sights. There are lots of little cafes nearby for dinner. There is a laundromat about 10 minute walk away.
The rooms are on the smallish side but not uncommon for Europe. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The elevator is a tad slow so you will find yourself using the stairs often. The top floor of the hotel has a small balcony with table and chairs that has a view of Colosseum. The only knocks on this hotel would be that the chairs in the room are uncomfortable to sit in, the TV is very small, and there is no fridge to keep drinks cold. The breakfast selection was the best of all the hotels we had visited on our long trip. Lots of cold cuts and Salmon. Overall, a great place to stay and we would love to come back here again.

Room Tip: The top floor rooms (6th floor) have easy access the roof patio. If you use the stairs to avoid the...

We stayed in hotel Lancelot for 3 nights, had a room on the 2nd floor. The hotel is clean, very conveniently located within walking distance of much of what there is to be seen in Rome. Service and breakfast are quite good, the common areas very nice. Price is somewhat on the high end, but that is to be expected in the center of Rome. In hindsight we would have preferred a room with a balcony, on a higher floor. Sometimes during the night glass recycling containers in the street are collected which can be noisy. We had a free parking offer via booking.com (and we got help parking the car in the tiny spot which was nice), but in the end there was no record and that promise was not honored, because there was no record of it at checkout. We did not try the fixed menu dinners in the hotel, there are many good options close to the hotel as well. All in all we had a very good stay and would return without a doubt. We rely on the tripadvisor reviews for our hotel selection, and were not disappointed this time again.

Room Tip: Higher floors are better.
