I ve been there several times followed by big intervals, but I always find the same good quality of food and service.

Small, down to earth restaurant with excellent food for the price. The place tends to get very crowded so come early and expect to wait half an hour for a table. It is not a place you linger at, as there is usually a queue outside waiting to get in. The food and wine is simple, but very good. The zucchini gnocchi was heavenly, and the rabbit really good. The salted Cod was also good. The pasta pomodoro was rather bland, and I would avoid it.

This trattoria was recommended to us, and we were not disappointed. The food was very reasonable and very good. Waiters were fun. The place was very busy and felt like an authentic Italian trattoria...would definitely recommend.

We were 4 people , liked the look cos it seemed more after work and local .. Food was ok .. Carbonnara a bit salty i agree .but the eggplant rigatoni was good. Very rude abrasive service .. House wine ok, a shame it took so long to be served even the water ... We were given glass for wine or water not both !!! I think they could try a bit harder but maybe they do not want tourists ....

the food, although not special, is good and reliable. don't expect frills or creativity here, it's typical roman fare cooked as expected from a trattoria like this. nothing less nothing more. service is hasty, but this is how you would expect it to be at a place like this. it manages to be touristy and authentic at the time. reliable choice if you re running out of ideas and are in the area. i had the pasta with eggplant red sauce and lots of cheese (alla norma) very good and yummy, tasted really homemade, but was nothing exceptional. if you want to try the atmosphere and the food of a typical low range roman trattoria this is a satisfactory choice. four stars because everything, even the hasty waiters, feels true and honest and as it should be
