The steps themselves are nice, made to connect to the church above. The views from the top are worth the climb. They are not spectacular as some I’ve seen but worth the visit to say you’ve seen them.

Just LOVELY!! Leads to the Borghese Galleria which is a wonder of and in of itself!!

Those steps are a wonder to behold and walk up.

And it reminds me of 5th Avenue with all the top brand name brand stores.
LOVE Furla!!!

we had a good time at this area of town. it is a cute area at the base of the steps with bistros. at the top of the steps its a school not a church. so only go up to take pics of town view. really cute shops and some really high end shops.

It just a building with some steps...
Well to e precise, with a lot of people on the steps. Do yourself a favor and come early

Stopped here during a night tour of Rome. It was beautiful all lit up. It was crowded, but being a large open area, this was not a problem.

If you like crowds and steps then you’ll love this sight.

It’s manic, so many people looking at steps. Oh and watch out for people giving the hard sell on random bits and pieces.

It’s worth a photo or a selfie then move on

Spanish Steps were so busy it was hard to walk up them as there were lots of people sat on them. So you need to climb over people. The view at the top was ok but you just got to see lots of people below.

I'm glad to have been just to say I have seen the Spanish steps, however...

They are just steps.
They're pretty steps, but there are much better things to see in Rome (colosseum, Trevi Fountain, the Vatican...)

You also can't see much of them because there is people sat on them most of the time and the area is very crowded.

Have a look if passing, but I would advise spending your time seeing the more impressive sights of Rome.

The Spanish Steps are a great location to see as they are just grand and open up to a small plaza filled with people. At night, if the night is warm, climb to the top, take in the view and feel the breeze! After, you must sit on the steps and people watch, accept the fact that you are in Italy and walking around true historical structures.
