It is by far the best preserved ancient structure in Rome. It is centrally located in the middle of all Rome’s major sites. and is jaw dropping in its scale.

And of course, IT IS FREE!

One tip, it is worth going right when it opens in the morning before the masses arrive and guards are continually saying “shhhhhhhhh”.

If you happen to be in Rome when it is raining, seeing the water pour through the oculus while you are inside is truly a unique experience.

It is free, so do visit. A nice decent attraction to see. Beautiful inside and outside. Just go visit, sit and relax. Just give 15-20 mins of your time.

This is a great destination to visit in Rome. Not only is it gorgeous, but it is free to go in. There is no talking though, so fair warning.

Free attraction, close to many other attractions and absolutely stunning. Well worth the time to check it out for a few minutes. Also many very cute cafes nearby!

I didn't like the fact that it has always a lot of people. In a place like this it would be better if you could live this experience in silence.

This was an interesting place to visit. I kind of accidentally stumbles upon it with a friend, but we ventured inside to have a look and leave our names to the guest log.

Truly a wonder of ancient architecture, its beautiful in its simplicity. Just a round room with a hole at the top. :) I love the unassuming decor, and then of course some of the titans of Italian history buried here. A must to see.

We visited this remarkable church in Oct 2018. It was raining and to see the rain coming down through the hole in the dome was great. The building is amazing with an incredible atmosphere.
People were making a little too much noise as it’s supposed to be silent but tourist will be tourist.
If you go to Rome you can’t miss this historical masterpiece.
