The Pantheon is certainly worth a visit when you are in Rome. It is in amazing condition and very different to other temples/ churches.

This won't take you long, but it is free to enter, stunning from the outside and inside, and located in a lovely small piazza with great cafes around it. Highly recommended.

History in front of you.
We literally stumbled upon this place as we were going from Piazza Navona to the Trevi Fountain, at night.
It was so stunning that we sat at one of the awful cafes & had a drink to just look.

Definitely was a "must-see" tourist spot for me to visit while in Rome. They say online that you might have to pay but this is false, you can walk right in. I recommend getting there around when it opens so there's less people

We went to see the Pantheon because it is a well-known tourist attraction. We found the exterior to be quite interesting. We were not aware of the Basilica Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri inside the Pantheon. The Basilica is breathtaking and much more impressive than the Pantheon itself.

The Pantheon is really quite spectacular. Free entry although there is often a pretty long line to get in but it moves pretty fast. Quite crowded during summer months but definitely worth going to visit.

Amazing with so much history. Little street of the piazza with wonderful restaurants, one of my favorite streets.

Been here every time I have been to Rome...it's a magnet. A real favourite. Amazing sense of fabulous planning, design and build from the superb dome to all the nooks and cranny's. Though a place of worship sadly very noisy, but then it has so many people inside always.

The interior of this building is so impressive - what you see outside the structure (besides the hoards of people) isnt at all as beautiful as the interior. The dome itself is one of the wonders of the world and the history of the city

The Pantheon is obviously on the list of great things to see in Rome, but our expectations were far exceeded in our visit. #1 we went first thing in the morning, there was no line, and we went right in. Being in a non-crowded tourist attraction made it special already. We had the space to really appreciate the Roman construction and artwork. We used the Rick Steve's audio app to get background commentary. This was about a 1 hour visit, and we remarked at how well everything is preserved, and how the Romans built things to last.
