“Amazing”
Reviewed July 4, 2013

By far, the most amazing ancient remain we have seen on our trip. We have yet to visit the Coliseum and Roman Forum, but the Pantheon is the best thing we have seen up until now. The sheer size of it is awe-inspiring. We went at a time when it wasn't too crowded, no line, we walked right in. I appreciated seeing Raphael's tomb as well as that of 2 kings. This is definitely a must-see when in Rome!

“An amazing building”
Reviewed July 4, 2013

Free to look around and an essential part of a trip to Rome. Photos do not do justice to how large the dome and pillars really are.

Visit at different times of day and see the sun lighting up different areas through the opening in the dome.

“Crowds”
Reviewed July 4, 2013

The title says it all, wow the crowds.
The interesting thing about The Pantheon is that it is maybe the best preserved Roman building.
VE II, Umberto I, and Raphael are buried there, didn't get to it, too crowded.
Barely even tried though.

“Fantastic”
Reviewed July 4, 2013

A superb experience! It's hard to believe that roof! The architecture is wonderful and the condition of the building is mind blowing considering the age. Great that entry is free but it can be quite busy so go early or later in the day to avoid the crowds.
