“Must see”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2012

Whatever people say that there is no "must see" in Rome, Pantheon is one of those places. Just to inform you that I am not one of those people "big fan of art". But Pantheon is very old, and within its walls it holds, like most of ancient buildings in Rome, a story that you should read.

“Great!”

should definitely include this in one's trip to Rome. Leaves one wondering how they could have constructed something of such gigantic proportions back in the day.

“Worth a Visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2012

What a magnificient site, right in downtown Rome, with modern buildings all around! We got there at about 6:30pm in the evening in November (it was already dark) but the building was still open. I believe it closes around 7:30pm. This made a nice evening visit. You can see everything in 30 minutes, or an hour if you meander a bit. This is a free site...no charge to go in and walk around, so definitely go take a look. I want to point out that this is a short walk to Hadrian's Temple, which was also nice to see at night (and at no point did we feel unsafe in these areas at night).

“Interesting”

After walking through the Pantheon (free admission), we had a front table at the cafe on the square in front and drank wine watching the crowds. Then, a gelato as we walked on...perfect.
