The food in Santi is very delicious and nice .I visited it because the old man tell us about the food and we were embarrassed if we walk away . The food looks very good.i ate the spaghetti alla vongole and there are many clams inside the spaghetti and it cost 6.50. I would like to go to Santi again.

“Great food and service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 23, 2013

We came upon this restaurant on the way back to our hotel. The old man outside managed to convince us to come in give it a try. Luckily we did as the food turned out to be delicious while the service we received from him was great. As it turns out the old man was actually Santi, the owner. Overall price was decent, cheaper than most places we've been to. Highly recommend worth trying.

“Good food, good value.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 15, 2013

We enjoyed 2 lunches here.
Pizza plus drink 7 Euros, simple and delicious.
Other 3-course menus, also including drink and service, 10-15 Euros, also very good.
Friendly family business.
Would return.

“Wonderful mom & pop bistro....reasonably priced too!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 5, 2013

We were greeted at the entrance by a very sweet grandma. Somehow her presence was very comforting, like we were entering the dining room of someones private residence.

The menu is varied, with many choices. I had a plate of steak and potatoes (only $9 euros) and my wife ordered a bowl of homemade vegetable soup ($4 euros) and a combination pizza ($6 euros).

We ended up sharing our plates family style, and "granny" was very helpful with her service (although she needed to bring a younger person --probably the granddaughter-- so we could explain about "medio crudo/sangue" ---as she did not understand the concept of Medium Rare.

Despite the language barrier, we had one of the most pleasant meals of our trip and it cost us only $22 euros (includes tax) for Lunch.

My wife said "This is the best steak I have ever tasted at the price" and I fully agree. The meat tasted like it had just been sliced off the cow.

The soup was outstanding, like something my Jewish grandma used to make!

However, the pizza was probably more in the 3.5 star range. It was better than most pizza in the United States, but on the mediocre range for Italy. Its still worth the money.

Close to Termini station and both Metro lines.
