A great place to relax for the weekend in Rome with a helpful host. The place was clean and in a safe neighborhood. Would recommend.
Nice apartment, spacious, great for family with children, could do with more decent pillows as we all found them very flat with no support.
Too far from all the famous tourist spots like Colloseum and Vatican
city. You will need to use either Taxis or buses everyday to get to see all
the museums and ancient city.
We found that because of this we missed out on enjoying the evening t in the centre of the city as once we had spent most of the day there we would head back to apartment in very crowded overloaded buses every afternoon and that was pretty much enough for the day for us.
Now the most important thing you need to know about booking this apartment is that, TripAdvisor requires an initial deposit on booking and final payment within weeks, with little chance of refund.
The other surprise you will get straight after your full payment is an email from the owner requesting an extra payment on arrival for Rome city Taxes also cleaning fee all in cash, once the owner gets your full payment he will send you link to his own conditions in which you cannot cancel or receive a refund if you change your mind for any reason.
When we booked we could not see these extra charges on the original advertisement thru Tripadvisor and it was too late once we had payed full amount.
Unfortunately we were to accept these extra surprise charges by the owner after assuming our full payment was complete and we were not happy and left without the chance to get refund or change booking, even after we booked 4 months earlier and paid fully with 4weeks.
We find this unacceptable by Tripadviors policy.
Great place to stay in an area full of locals instead of tourists despite being a tourist myself. Host very helpful. Bus stops nearby. Parking is hit and miss in respect of getting a spot but parking garage next door for €15 a day which we used as took the hassle out of parking. Recommend to others.
Warm and gracious were our host Pino, Sabrina and their son. The apartment was immaculate. It wasn’t too far from the down town area. I would definitely stay here again. Grazie Roma!⛲️❤️
Great apartment had everything we needed. Great
Transport links to the centre of Rome, very helpful host who arranged transfers to and from the airport, gave us lots of information about restaurants, bus routes and anything we needed to know about the area.
Pino (Giuseppe) di Furia really made us feel welcome in Rome. We could find a good and save spot for our car, Pino offered us first a coffee, walked us around the appartment and gave us some first tips what best to do in Rome and around the appartment. The place is clean and has everything you need on a stay in the city. The backyard under the banana trees was great! Our guest Pino took some quality time in getting us settled, thanks!! And after that, we could communicate via (Hidden by Airbnb) , if we had a quastion, really great. The place itself is not in the tourist centre, and thats fine. Its more peacefull and supermarkets, bars, restaurants are within walkin distance. Busses to the centre ar in min's walk. Even here Pino offers info on! Thanks again Giuseppe for a great stay in Rome! Rover, Rijk, Judith and Arno Hope to meet you in Holland soon
This was our first night in Italy and we couldn't have been welcomed any better than from Pino. The apartment had everything we needed for a nice stay. Lovely neighborhood, quiet, near pretty parks and convenient to all the attractions of Rome.
