I first discovered this culinary paradise by chance, during one of my multiple trips to Rome in 2009. Upon entrance, the warmth of the restaurant leaves you feeling embraced, your senses enticed by the wide variety of selected wines and the alluring aromas coming from the kitchen. These sensations continue throughout your stay, topped only by the high level of service and knowledge that owner Raffaele brings. The food itself, can not be labeled as such, for each plate, every ingredient selected comes together to form a piece of art, both visually and in flavour.
I have since returned to Salotto on multiple occasions, making it a mandatory stop in Rome and never once have left without feeling that same sensation of having been treated like a queen, dining at Rome's very finest.
