The guide was a lady and she was extremely friendly. Perfect English and she spent so much time explaining and taking us around the Vatican. I would 100% recommend!

Thank you for an amazing morning. We booked the Semi Private Three Hour Vatican Highlights tour. Agnes was so warm and friendly and got us organised quite well as a group of 17 people. Barbara our guide was superb, down to earth and funny. I really admire her energy! She is very knowledgeable and answered all the questions posed by our group so well. She took very good care of us considering that it was exceptionally crowded today. Thank you for the precious memories of today.

It was a great tour with Christian as our guide. Skipped the lines. Busy place, but Christian did an excellent job at navigating us around crowds. Kept us safe and together. Very knowledgable. Highly recommend.

I finished the visit to Vatican few hours ago and I am still impressed and moved how professional and cordial Agnes, our guide has been. She was very informative and patietn with all our question. Agnes has been working exclusively with company we booked through so you must request her if you can for the best Vatican experience.

We headed down to Vatican City at about 9am to get in and out at a reasonable time, we ended up buying fast track tickets with the Basilica, St Peters etc all included. We bought our tickets at 9.20am and the guy we booked with ensured we would be going with the 9.30am group, which was a small group of about 15 people and we would be getting started pretty much straight away.

We bought our tickets, then we were told that we had missed the 9.30am group and would have wait until 10.15am to go with the next group. This was a little irritating and a bit misleading, so we had to spend 40 odd minutes hanging around.

Our group gathered at about 10am which then was a lot larger what we were told, our group was nearly 40 people. Getting our tickets and getting into the Vatican Museum seemed to take an absolute age at least an hour and a half we all stood waiting around. We would then walk a little bit then have to wait 20 minutes, all then queue to get headphones, then queue to collect our tickets. It just all seemed a bit chaotic and not how it was sold to us originally.

Anyway, we eventually get the tour started and our Tour Guide Silvia was great, really passionate, knowledgeable and done a really good job of keeping us all interested and together!

The Tour was really interesting especially the Chapel, but the whole place is heaving like crazily busy which gets a little irritating after a few hours as you can't seem to move without something bumping into you or stopping right in front of you to take a photo etc.

The tour lasted nearly 3 hours, so was worth the money we paid but we felt a little mislead as we were sold something that didn't really materialise.

We booked our tickets with Christian from a Tour company called Veniero Tours. Maybe look around at a few other options before booking with them as we were a little disappointed with what was promised and what was actually received.
