“Impressive church”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

For us maybe the less beautiful of the 4 Papal basilicas in Rome, but nevertheless worth wile to visit.

“Place to confess”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

Church is beautiful and majestic. If you are in need to confess, place provides access to "the service" in many languages.

“The Basilica of Rome”
Reviewed April 3, 2013

This church is an impressing monument. It is the main church of Rome (San Peter is not technically the church or Rome). Has an impressing Mosaic and the Apostolis statues that dominat the main space are of impressing proportions.

“Amazing”
Reviewed April 2, 2013

One of the most impressive church in Rome and seems to be more important than San Pietro Basilica, being the residence of the bishop of Rome, who is also the Pope.
The picture looks pretty much the same like in other catholic churches but the sculptures are not from this planet, for sure.

“The crown jewel of our trip”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

I'd never heard of this place before our trip Easter weekend, and after reading up on in post-visit, I'm a little shocked and kind of embarrassed that I wasn't aware of a place with this much history in Rome. Every part of the interior takes your breath away; can't say enough about the architecture and grandeur of the whole church. It gives you chills just taking everything in; was especially moving being there for mass Easter morning. This is a must-see for any trip to Rome.
