“A hidden treasure”
Reviewed May 11, 2013 via mobile

This was definitely a hidden treasure worth visiting. A smaller church with a beautiful alter and lovely frescos. A bit gruesome, but worth the visit.

“Contains Michelangelo's Moses statue”
Reviewed May 11, 2013

A bit hidden away, on the top of a ramp of stairs, meaningless from outside, amazing inside, especially for the Moses. Also, there are the chains said linked S.Peter, separated in 2 parts and miraculously re-merged at a later time.

“A Must-See!”
Reviewed May 10, 2013

Michelangelo's Moses (with horns) is awesome. Wait until someone else inserts a euro to light up the statue and click away! Not being Catholic, I was disturbed by the horns. I was, however, relieved to find out that they were made by mistake. Moses was to have rays emanating from his head but a misinterpretation of the Hebrew word for rays was changed to horns! The outside of the church does not prepare you for the beauty inside...Do NOT judge this book by its cover and do NOT miss, when in Rome!

“Michelangelo's Moses”
Reviewed May 9, 2013

The awesome Michelangelo statue of Moses justifies the exertion of climbing so many steps up from the Via Cavour. The church is nothing special ( when compared to the splendour of so many others ) but the devout will marvel at the chains in their display case and their religous significance.

“Third time and even better experience”
Reviewed May 9, 2013

This is church cannot be misses because you will find an amazing statue of Michelangelo's Moses there. The best time to visit this church is in the evening hours when a daily tourist crowd is subside and you have the whole church to yourself.
