“Moses”
Reviewed March 26, 2013

Moses is the great attraction in this church but first make sure you take the tourist entrance to this place because following the map we took a turn in a very dangerous neighborhood. This time it was not worth the money to pay to "light up" Moses, it is beautiful and impressive how a piece of marble can turn into such a awe inspiring sculpture.

“Worth the Long Walk”
Reviewed March 25, 2013

While in Rome last summer we walked from our hotel to San Pietro in Vincolo to see the Moses statue by Michelangelo. It was a long walk, but well worth it. The statue is gorgeous! I hope to see it again some day.

“Holy Moses!”
Reviewed March 25, 2013

Micheal Angelo created three sculptures in his life time, all others were completed my his apprenticies. Two of three sculptures are located in Rome, The Moses at San Pietro in Vincoli and Pieta at St. Peter's bascillica. The Moses is breathtaking and well worth seeing. Also, the chains that held St. Peter are also located in this Church.
