Rome is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Churches are amazing and the old romans ruins are true impressive.

Walking back from the Colosseum, my friend and I came across this magnificent church. We were awestruck by how beautiful it was inside. Spend a couple of Euros to illuminate the various parts of the church; it really shows how beautiful the ceilings are. Highly recommend a visit.

Splendid, fantastic, next only to St Peters. Outside at the rear is one of the twin Obelisks that were imported from Egypt centuries ago. This is directly on the city Tour hop on hop off bus route with the stop just at the side of the Basilica so would be a shame to miss it.
