Very close to our hotel and near Termini. Lovely mosaics on the front though I would have liked a better view of them. A very large beautiful church.

Wonderful church but why is it not possible to have the light swithes for the mosaics a little closer to the mosaics? At present you either do not realise there are lights at all, or by the time you have walked the length of the church after putting your money in the slot the time has run out!

Gorgeous, historical church with a 1990's stained glass window over the entrance (donated....but nonetheless) that is totally out of place. Ignore that and you have a wonderful experience. Restroom facilities limited.

Check the time because we went late afternoon and it was closed. Glad we went back the next day because it was spectacular; full of riches, frescoes, statues and art. Magnicient ceiling paintings with gold. I could have spent at least an hour in this treasure. There were interesting shops nearby selling religious vestments and a monastic building. Well worth visiting if you are interested in religious history.

Passed this every day when staying at the Beehive hotel. It is beautiful and even though it is lesser known it is still one of the most enduring images I have of Rome
