“Nice Views”
Reviewed March 28, 2013

When you visit Rome you will at some point come across the Tiber River.

Some parts are slightly run down but on a nice sunny day it makes an enjoyable walk along by the bridges.

“Love the Tiber”
Reviewed March 27, 2013

From my first glimpse, I loved this river. This is living, moving history with great bridges, producing great images and vistas at every turn. Perfect at sunrise....

“As the city boils, the river cools”
Reviewed March 1, 2013

In the summer, much of Rome moves onto the banks of the Tiber river, with bars and restaurants picking up and moving premises to temporary structures laid out for the summer. Unfortunately, the food suffers considerably, so don't plan on a great meal anywhere on the Tiber. Music is often live and free, but of course the acoustics are not wonderful in an open-air settings. But it is good for snacking, people watching, and it is one of the few cool places when the temperatures soar.

“Used to be better until floods brought the plastic bags”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

Now the trees along the side are littered with plastic bags. I go down to the rive about once a week and now it literally turns my stomach to be down there. Sad.

“Filthy”
Reviewed January 13, 2013 via mobile

The Tibet could be the way to make Rome perfect - the cherry on the cake. Instead, it's left to itself. Filthy and dark, stinks and ruins the environment for locals and tourists alike.
