“Best of Bernini”
Reviewed December 27, 2013

This is one of the best fountains in Rome, located in the best piazza. The fountain represents a river from each of the four continents known in Bernini's time: the Nile, Ganges, Danube, and Rio de la Plata. See if you can identify which is which!

“Masterpiece”
Reviewed December 11, 2013

The Piazza Navona is a beautiful open space which showcases on of Bernini's masterpiece. It's slightly ruined by the hawkers constantly trying to sell tack but still worth seeing as it's on the route to the Trevi, Spanish Steps and Pantheon.

Really love the square and this was the icing on the cake! It was busy with stalls but so pretty and such a great atmosphere.

“A MUST SEE”
Reviewed December 3, 2013

you always see these in movies so the fountains are a must in my opinion. It does not take a long time just to see the fountains and its pretty close to other attractions in Rome so you don't need to purposely spend hours to go to one. It does get very crowded at times so be prepared to jump at the opportunity for pictures or else you will always have someone in the background.

“Fountains!”
Reviewed December 3, 2013

Fountains are like candy to small children . . . everyone is drawn to them and they entertain people for hours! Italy, well Rome to be precise, has its share of them. Here, you have the Spanish Steps and artists (well more street vendors of questionable quality) selling their wares in the glow and splashes of the fountains. Certainly you won't be sorry that you spend an hour or so strolling along this piazza!
