We visited here as part of our combo ticket, so glad we did. This area is large and full of fascinating history, but there is not much information on it so I suggest you Google it before you go! And as with the Forum, make sure you have a hat when hot and sunny and a bottle to fill from the water fountains.
We did the tour of the Coliseum, Roman Forum & Palatine with headout and it was well worth the investment. Avoided queues and got a full look into the history of the Palatine hill, amazig view of the city from the top. Would definitely recommend.
Again another must visit attraction. Very interesting museum and remains of the Emperors houses. If you look across there are some nice properties obviously still an influential area.
Great to see but definitely worth it to have a tour as there is not much signage and you could easily get lost walking in circles aimlessly
Our visit was overshadowed by the fact that it was nearly 100F that day so it was a struggle to stay enthusiastic with the walking & climbing! That being said, it is absolutely worth the visit and the monuments are spectacular and the view from the top is amazing!
