I can't keep thinking of clever things to say in different ways. Alomg with the many other ruins in Rome, these ones warrant much longer attention and study than I had time for.

Ok everyone knows about the fountain, coloseum, Vatican but this is a relatively hidden gem. Vast, impressive, great views and we'll preserved. Because it's so big the crowds are not an issue. Really loved this.

After queueing for our reservation time for the Colosseum we were directed into the Palatine. Well worth a visit. Spent nearly two hours in there and still didnt see it all.

The sheer magnitude of the home is mind blowing. The way things were laid out and how elegant it would have been back in historic Rome makes some of todays mansions pale in comparison.
