As mentioned in other reviews, Villa Paganini is in a good and clean neighborhood, with a lovely park nearby (we only saw one). There are many buses passing by the area, so it won't be a big issue to commute between the Villa and any place in the city even if you are not in the center - just asked Neelam and he can help you with all the bus information. We also saw a supermarket nearby which is about 1 to 2 bus stops from the Villa. Vatican Museum is about 40-minute tram ride, not 20 minutes as other said as there were many stops along the route, and you should notice the name of the tram stop so you wouldn't get lost on the way back like us! People mentioned restaurants around the place, as Neelam did, but we couldn't find one except the posh Villa Paganini Restaurant (which looks like a village restaurant) but the place was closed on the night we meant to have dinner.
We had to change rooms on some nights and finally stayed in all three rooms - all were very clean and bright despite they are on a small side. Other guests who shared the same floor and pantry were all good, quiet and polite, so we didn't experience any problem.
Breakfast included (jam-coated) croissants (as the Italians only have sweet pastries for breakfast!), sandwiches, tin biscuits, yoghurt, cereal and also fresh cooked eggs (as you want) prepared by Neelam. This was incomparable with other places (like B&B in France, Belgium, or even in Spain and the UK) as this is Italy but it was much better than all other cities we stayed during our trip in this country. It was a nice touch that the owner stocked some juices, coffee and tea in the pantry for all guests.
We asked the owner to book the taxi for us from and to the airport at a very reasonable price. You may have to pay much higher if you call a taxi by yourself as the traffic was terrible and there were lots of scams!
All in all, we had a lovely stay.
