“Beautiful at Night”
Reviewed December 27, 2013

Well worth the visit and photo opps, especially in the evening. Bathrooms are available at the corner bar, on the right when facing the fountain.

“Love it”
Reviewed December 27, 2013 via mobile

Went there at night & in the day. Loved it both times. Only annoying thing is the people wandering around the fountain selling flowers or asking for money to take your picture.
The concierge at my hotel said,
1 coin into the fountain = return to Rome
2 coins = find love & return to Rome
3 coins = find new love (if you're in a relationship & return to Rome)

“visit on the way to somewhere else”
Reviewed December 27, 2013

The fountain is beautiful but once you have taken your obligatory photo there is not much else there to see or do. Visit on the way to somewhere else.

“Trevi Fountain most Interesting and Beautiful”
Reviewed December 27, 2013

We walked to the fountain from our hotel, Marriott Rome Grand Flora, twice, once during the day and again late one evening. We wanted to see the difference during daylight and dark. the lighting really does make it spectacular. The weather was sunny and cool and could not have been better while we were in Rome. December is a good month to visit as it is not crowded and local people are happy that you are there as the economy seems to be tough on everyone. The fountain is a must see for everyone.

“Accepts Coins Only, No Banknotes”
Reviewed December 27, 2013

Part of the charm of the Trevi Fountain is its location at the intersection of several small back streets. You just don't expect to see this dramatic attraction in this obscure location. Your experience will depend on how crowded it is. Sometimes you cannot get within twenty feet of the fountain, other times you have the place to yourself.

We were fortunate enough to have a room only minutes from the fountain. Almost everywhere we walked took us past Trevi so we saw it crowded, uncrowded, day, night, dry, rain. Try to see it several times. It willl feel like a different experience each time.
