Owner description: Certainly the most famous and photographed fountain in Rome, legend has it that whoever throws a coin into the pond will return to Rome.

After long walk found out that full of people, never expected such small place with so many peoples. The fountain and architecture is great but only for backdrop foto nothing special.
I think is only a must to take picture while in Rome nothing more.
Many shops and restaurants on the way to the fountain.

It's big and impressive, but all I really wanted to do once I got there was leave. It is situated on a very cramped corner that looks a little run down. And it's just teeming with tourists. There's nothing magical or romantic about it. It's great art and you will be glad you saw it, if only so you can check it off your list.

It is a beautiful & famous fountain not to be missed when visiting Rome. However, the place is really too crowded. It's impossible to take a personal photo's there, especially when you arrive there like we did; after the early dinner :-( Don't forget to taste the Italian gelato in one of the gelato houses around the fountain ....... You can't visit Roma and not make a visit to the Trevi. We were there in April and it was a very
enjoyable experience. Not crowded, but a steady stream of tourists. It is a very beautiful piece of architecture.

This is another ''must see'' in Rome. It is a very beautiful sculpture and the atmosphere is electric. We did of course toss our coins with about 2,000 others as it was very crowded!! Well worth the lovely walk from our hotel near the Forum.
