Take a walk across the Tiber River from the city center to stroll this neighborhood. Quaint streets, more very old and beautiful churches. As everywhere in Rome, wear good walking shoes because of the small square cobblestone streets and sidewalks.
My husband and I enjoyed delicious coffee, croissant and muffin at Meccanismo. Later, we discovered Ristorante “Carlo Menta” with it’s large outdoor space. The most reasonably priced meal of our 7 day trip was a delicious lunch consisting of a pizza, a pasta dish and 2 medium beers for 25 euro.
