Owner description: This busy and lively neighborhood has the look and feel of a traditional small Italian town, with people shopping, chatting, drinking espresso and going about their daily business.

We had a delightful lazy lunch on a hot day in this lovely district close to the centre of Rome. It was vibrant , colourful and full of happy tourists taking some time out from the madness of the major attractions. We ate outdoors in one of the many restaurants - the ambience was fitting , the wine flowed , and we loved our set 3 course menu as we whiled away a very pleasant two hours in a lovely setting . ...

Our last stay in Rome was at a very nice apartment on a quiet street ( Via della Cisterna)of this wonderful area of the city. It´s an amazing experience walking through the tiny narrow streets, full of plants and flowers, colours, people and restaurants of all kinds, mainly pizzerias. I would reccomend anyone to rent an appartment there because you´ll never get tired of looking to all the attractions Trastevere presents, musicians, outside artists and in general a very funny atmosphere!
I´d reccomend to have a glass of excellent prosecco at Enoteca Ferrara!!!! You´ll never forget that place!

Extremely fun area on the "other" side of the Tiber. Young crowds. We are in our early-mid thirties, and grabbed dinner around 8pm and had drinks after. Perfect! No swarms of fanny-packed ugly tourists. Good energy. Good vibe. Started getting a little too young and a little too cannot handle my alcohol crew getting after it once you hit 11pm, but before that, it was pretty solid. By far the best area to hang out in at night if you are sub-40 and like more energy and less touristy. Also, felt more safe hanging out down there than even a sparsely attended Veneto. Good times.
