Owner description: The most outstanding square of the Baroque period in Rome features Bernini's Fountain of Rivers at its center as it faces Borromini's church, Sant' Agnese in Agone.

I think this is my favourite square in Rome and has got to be one of the most beautiful in the world. Of course it's not really a "square" at all, being far longer than wide but the renaissance and baroque architecture, the fountains, the gorgeous colours, make it unmissable. However, it makes a big difference when you visit because it is normally full of tourists, cartoon artists and trinket-sellers, which do take the shine off the experience. I would recommend visiting at a quiet time of the day (not easy) and my favourite by far is about seven o-clock in the morning. Crossing Piazza Navona all on your own on a summer morning is an unforgettable experience.

2 stunning fountains a really beautiful church and a wonderful atmosphere makes this a great place to stop for a coffee, people watch or just admire the beauty of this elegant square. The only drawback was finding it via a tiny passage. Definitely got the Rome wow factor

There are a whole lot of crowd accumulating over here at any point of time. Its crowded and at the same time lively and one of the best places to hangout while in Rome. Not only the surrounding areas provide beautiful and breathtaking views but the whole vibe around is good as well and then the place also have ample options for shopping and dining

Had a lovely meal here at Tre Scilini fooled by cocktails at a bar opposite the fountain. Quite buzzy here.

There is plenty of artist around almost every corner in Rome, but this is like Rome´s Montmartre with hundreds of them. Just if there were less beggars and immigrants trying to sell you selfie stick or "definitely original" Burberry scarves and LV handbags ... (but these immigrants are really everywhere in Rome ... so disappointing)
