great place to stop eat, watch the world go by. In the square there are artists and market stalls. Really nice atmosphere, we would definatly go back there.

Beautiful place, with a lovely fountain. Loads of restaurants surrounding the Piazza to choose from, although you'll obvously pay more for these, than you would others that are just as good but without the view.
Worth talking a walk to here if you are in the area.

This is just one of those must see places in Rome. Don't be tempted to sit down and drink a coffee though. Ouch!!

Went here when it was raining but the Piazza is still stunning and beautiful. A very large square around the fountains.

My wife and I visited Rome last July. It's an incredible city with many famous piazzas. The Piazza Navona is no exception as its beauty is clearly visible. The Italians clearly have a love for fountains. There are 3 in this long oval and symmetrically designed area. Bernini's Fountain of the Four Rivers, as well as an Egyptian obelisk, is the centerpiece set against a monumental church built by his rival, Borromini. This is one place were you could actually get lost taking pictures. As the sun was slowly setting and it begin to fill up with people, I lost my wife. It took about 40 minutes of pacing up and down the square before we finally found each other. The Piazza Navona is yet another one of Rome's many jewels.
