“Nice people watching stop”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2012

Not so much of a destination (unless you want to stop for gelato or dinner), but a nice place to stop, watch people and enjoy the two amazing fountains in the Piazza.

“A pretty square spoilt by hawkers”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2012

Piazza Navona is one of the main tourist hot spots of Rome with far too many foreign (African?) touts dodging the local police and other so called artists selling ghastly paintings. lots of reastaurants mostly very expensive but having said all that it is worth visiting (it free) and the fountains are splendidly baroque. i have had lunch there more than once over the years so it can't be too bad. you can use the toilets in the restaurants.

“great area”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2012

Terrific piazza to wander through especially late afternoon/dusk. Berninis fountain is beautiful as are the other 2. There are sooo many artists who have art in varied mediums, but we were not hassled to buy which was refreshing plenty of restaurants to sit and watch the world go by.
