This was my second stay at this B&B, and I still highly recommend it. The location is just fantastic, and for the price it is excellent value. The location is quiet, even though it is so close to the Trevi Fountain. Francesca is a wonderful and very helpful host, and we appreciated her advice during our stay and especially her assistance with the taxi when we left.
Her restaurant recommendations were excellent, and of course you can't go past getting gelati from nearby Giolitti, or San Crispino, or both!
Breakfast is basic, but fresh. The rooms are very clean, wifi is good and free, and the building is quite secure.
I will always come back here when visiting Rome. Thankyou for your hospitality.

We visited the Fontana di Trevi in April and from the moment we arrived we were treated as very special house guests, rather than anonymous customers. We were given a welcome drink on arrival and taken through all the local sights, restaurants and other places of interest, and given lots of really useful tips.

Our room was beautiful - lovely decor, special little touches like a bottle of wine for our anniversary, and some nice toiletries, and the best thing was the side view of the Trevi Fountain at the end of our little cobbled street.

Francesca and the team were so accommodating - arranging breakfast (which was delicious) around the times that suited us, and booking restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble!

The Town House was perfectly placed to make the most of our stay, and gave us the chance to get to places nice and early, so we were able to enjoy them without too many people, or to pop back for a shower on a long day of excursions.

We completely fell in love with Rome and think the accommodation had a big part to play in this; we will definitely come back, and would highly recommend this wonderful B&B to others.

Room Tip: One with a view of the Trevi Fountain

We stayed here for our 5th wedding anniversary last September for two nights (which wasn't long enough!) it was brilliant from start to finish.

Francesca was lovely from initial emails she was so helpful and she was there to greet us and gave us a big map and circled all the places we should visit and all were in walking distance. We asked for a typical roman restaurant nearby for dinner and it was delicious very authentic and amazing food. We also had a bottle of wine in our room for our anniversary.

On the Saturday we walked everywhere with Francesca's trusty map, we saw all the major sites. Francesca had booked us a lovely restaurant for our anniversary casa compelle which was simply wonderful food and locals were queuing to get a table.

The room itself was perfect for us, very private, lovely comfy bed and the bathroom was nice too. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful and we enjoyed eating it in bed.

This was our best trip ever and would love to go back here, please book this B and B you will not be disappointed!

We had read the wonderful reviews on Tripadvisor and decided to stay here for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon and were not disappointed! Simone and Francesca were excellent with assisting us to get transfers from the airport and giving us excellent tips to ensure we got the most out of our short stay in Rome. They even recommended beautiful restaurants which were reasonably priced which we loved! They give the place a great personal touch which is very so refreshing. We were both shocked with the generous size of our room, much larger and well equiped than most hotels in the same price range. It felt like a small apartment rather than just a hotel room.

The location is also excellent with all major attractions within walking distance. When we return to Rome (which will definately happen!) we will be staying here again!

Room Tip: If you do not know Rome well I would recommend organising a car pick up from airport as it would be...

Stayed here based on the tripadvisor reviews and I was not disappointed.
After a stressful Ryan air flight (which I won't bore you with) the owners were so welcoming and helpful. They mapped out everything for us to see and do whilst we stayed there for four days.
The rooms were excellent much better than the hotels we looked at (and I'm fussy) and the breakfast was served the times we wanted it and was a full continental breakfast each day bought to you on a trolley. The location is perfect and right in the middle of everything.
I couldn't have asked for better an my partner who I was surprising on this this trip for his birthday was very impressed (he is usually a hotel snob.) This was the first b&b we have stayed at ever and it was better than some top hotels in regards to quality service location and value. Highly recommended I promise you wont be disappointed.

The Townhouse Fontana di Trevi is located just steps from the Trevi Fountain and couldn't have been a better place to stay during our recent few days in Rome. When staying here you feel as if you have your own apartment in the heart of Rome. We opened our window and could see the Trevi Fountain just steps down the street. It was nice to visit later in the evening as the large daytime crowds thin out a bit. Friendly Francesca greeted us upon our early morning arrival after a red eye from the US and they were just putting the finishing touches on preparing our room. They allowed us to leave our luggage and get situated before heading out to explore Rome for the day. Francesca provided excellent restaurant recommendations that were within a nice walking distance from the hotel as well as a nearby gelateria that was excellent. Every question we had was answered with a smile and the staff was so gracious to interact with. The room was clean and comfortable and the bed proved to be excellent as we had very refreshing sleep after our travels and exploring Rome. The breakfast is served in your room at the time of your choice and consisted of a selection of fresh breads, jellies, yogurt, fruit, cured meats, cheeses, and of course cappuccino. Everything about our stay was wonderful and we would not hesitate to return to Townhouse Fontana di Trevi on a future trip to Rome.
