we did this cooking class while in Rome in October - one of my favorite days of our trip! Andrea was so nice, and picked the perfect meal for our group to make. there were 10 of us total in the class. the kitchen is a little small, but it's a great environment to be cooking in. after you make everything, you eat each course - and we choose to have the wine pairing with our meal (I would recommend this - it's worth the extra 20 euros, although I wish he would have filled our classes a little fuller :-)
The food we made was amazing - and easy to make at home! Andrea sends you an email with instructions on making the meal when you get home.

this is a must do if you are looking for a cooking class while in Rome!!!!

Chef Andrea Consoli is part of the family at Le Fate Restaurant and gives cooking classes during the day. His class was a highlight of our trip to Rome! We prepared a 4 course meal in the restaurant kitchen (for 50 euros per person) with an optional additional wine pairing (for 20 euros per person). Andrea speaks perfect English and makes the day interesting, educational and fun! Reach him at consoliandrea@gmail.com You will not find a better one day cooking class in Rome!

The cooking class was really enjoyable. I'm a pretty good cook but learned a lot. Andrea is very knowledgeable and an excellent teacher. He tries to use only local ingredients and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this class.

Andrea has a great personality and we had alot of fun learning from him. I brought my teenager, who had never cooked before and he said it was one of the highlights of our 10 day trip to Italy. After preparing 4 delicious courses, we had a wonderful lunch with a wine pairing. When we returned home, Andrea had already emailed us all the recipes from our class. This class is a must do, especially if your looking for a break from visiting churches and museums!

Attended this class while on holiday in Rome and it was just excellent. Chef Andrea and his charming girlfriend Erica, who helps to run the classes, were very welcoming and we had a very nice group with a mixture of ages. Great value and great fun.
